Triple post incoming....
The White House COVID Task Force Coordinator has stated that the US has tested more people in the past 8 days than South Korea has in 8+ weeks, so hopefully we have crossed that bridge and now have a system in place for mass testing.

Look at his ideas, that's why he won't ever be president. Guy couldn't even get the democratic nominee

Are you reading what I wrote Ry? If you did then you are saying, "it is the humanitarian thing to do to elect Yang"
How does that make sense?

Let me make it very clear for you, George: Suppress and contain the virus.

I was answering Nick's question. Your response was in left field and had nothing to do with my response.

Who are they testing? Is it the same as the US? Most people that have the symptoms are not getting tested, partially because of a lack of tests

I think Chinas suppressing the info now outta fear of completely demoralizing the world when everyone finds out that lock down does nothing.

Disagree
More confirms give Drs a head start to treat the symptoms and I'd imagine reduce the # of deaths.
The US has a lot of cases but compared to other countries with a lot of cases, we have a low mortality rate, at 1.2%. I imagine if we could magically know every single patient who has it, that # would drop dramatically.
Given how many people we're not testing, I just think we have so many more cases than reported, which then would drop the mortality rate drastically. People can easily have it, not test, then recover. If someone will be sick enough to die from it, they'll likely be in a hospital and diagnosed with it.

And the US is at 1.2%. 2 deaths per 1,000,000 people
