Gotta say I am with Nick on this one. You let them play, gotta respect the numbers. Just like Clemmons and Bonds, Wu and Thomas should be inGeorgesGoons wrote:AgreeSeeitsaveit13 wrote:Remember new guys... yup, im on Wu and Thomas being in. They were part of our league, like it or not. They should be in.wdoupis wrote:Gotta say I am with Nick on this one. You let them play, gotta respect the numbers. But Bonds and Clemens were HOFers prior to the allegations.wdoupis wrote:Gotta say I am with Nick on this one. You let them play, gotta respect the numbers. Thomas and Wu were nothing better than Billy Ripken before they were messed with
trendon wrote:When you view the history, you can tell that I was fucking around with this guy; I didn't delete the whole history and you can see a comment was made about his OSA ratings on the 1st of 2012.
Around that time, I was taking untouched players in the free agent pool and shoving them in high school or college. We still had thousands of created players that were not drafted in any of the first three drafts or cut by the Japanese League, so I started editing the younger guys on to college and high school teams to clean it up and also to improve the draft ranks.
Now that I think about it, it is almost guaranteed that I moved Thomas from FA to Air Force. I always do the task when I have time and, as such, when I am taking guys and putting them in college, I start at the top or bottom of the list, alphabetically. If there was some cosmic way to know which players went to what teams (and how many), I'd bet that Air Force and Western Michigan have had the most.
All of that said, I have never edited anyone's ratings - even when doing this - so I have no idea how someone could get this good out of nowhere. I mean, he has PERFECT movement. Perfect. He really should almost never give up a home run ever.

Does the Chicago scout say he has more than 2 pitches?
His college stats are atrocious!
Nearly 1:1 K:BB ratio each season. ERA near 7 for four years of pitching. And only started 3 games in 4 years of college (with a stamina rating of 30 from OSA and 2 pitches, that makes sense).
What the hell.
And to calm guys like Shel down, I cant make changes to the database unless I upload a sim. Since I havent dont that in a few weeks, you would have to look at trendon for answer as to why within the last two sims he is the second highest rated pitcher.
dakshdar wrote:I'm fairly certain Trendon is screening posts and ignoring all post that mention "tonight", "bonus", or "sim".
He's sticking to his schedule, we're not falling behind or missing sims. I'm happy.
