players look bad every draft recently but the leagues full of studs so they somehow develop and get better. people who put in the extra work find the quality players.

You forgot to mention scouts finding international youths and then international free agency ;)

It's a shame those people putting in the extra work aren't rewarded with titles because our playoff system is so random and flawed that a true champion isn't crowned. Only the regular season can do that.

I was going to post and ask if anyone is near there.
Not saying I can get away for long, but maybe time for a few beers.

No clue where that is

Gulf. South of Tampa. I'll be near there in a few weeks for an event, but not this week. Enjoy!

This class looks very thin though. Players potential drops from a high of 2 players in the 70's to a low of the thirties before the first round is over? the second round drops will have a few 30 something players then it's noting but low 20's? third round looks like 20/20 's. yuk!

around 2030, when the US won the Gold in Olympic Hockey, Baseball started to take a backseat to the great white north's game. Because of this, talent in the major baseball leagues is decreasing.

I haven't even looked at the draft list yet, will do that when I get home from work. I do plan on signing my picks though, would be dumb not to in a rebuild mode.

Can you not return Rule 5 picks after the season starts? It's trying to put me on the hook for a ML salary for the remainder of the year even though the player had no ML contract at time of the draft

If you release a Rule 5 pick, he will go back to his original team.

I believe you will be on the hook for his salary if he was not a ML player in the past.

It is your team that gave him a ML contract, so I would assume it is your team that will be on the hook for his salary, since it is after the season started.

I just activated an owner to take over the Cleveland team.
I believe South Park wants a new owner and Dade County wants a new owner.

And footballkelly has a guy that is getting in, so he will take over 1 of the teams.
We will want to look for 1 more owner for the other team.

Lehman sitting at 266 wins. Cleveland is solid but only 25 wins the last 2 seasons. Can he get to 300?
