San Jose Defeats Hawaii in 4 OTs 51-48.

In what turned out to be a wild game, the Spartans Offense struggled to keep up with Hawaii early due to a lot of dropped passes by the Spartan receivers. Hawaii took a 28-14 lead into half before all hell would break loose. It took until 4 minutes left in the 4th for the Spartans to tie it up on a 3 yard pass from Jurich to Ervin.

In OT the teams traded TD'S, then FG's, then no points for 2 stanzas, until Hawaii would get a FG and San Jose would connect on a pass from Jurich to Wilson on a 10 yard square in to seal the deal.

Jurich had ridiculous numbers going 45-70 462 6 TDs but most importantly 4 ints. He connected with 12 receivers and 5 of them had Tds. No single receiver had 10 catches or 100 yards. The ground game was pitiful as the Spartans managed just 60 yards on 28 carries.

Out of the 13 times that San Jose got into the end zone, they managed only 7 Tds 1 FG and 5 TO's.

ODU beats Utah State in a game that was almost a blowout, and then got tight late.

Heinicke throws for almost 500 yards and ties a school record with 7 touchdown passes, as the offense got up by 29 and were about to bring in the backups mid 3rd, before Utah State's offense got going, and their defense forced two turnovers. ODU iced it late to kill off all doubts.

We were able to hit multiple big plays for touchdowns, including with under 30 seconds to go in the first half, from our own 12, when Utah State, for some reason, went zero coverage and blitzed the nickel, leaving the slot WR one on one with a safety. We saw the blitz coming, audibled to a deep play, and the safety went for the pick instead of making the tackle, which left the slot WR with about 70 yds of green in front of him as he scored an 88 yard touchdown out of nowhere.

My game vs Utah State saw Chuckie Keeton take off scrambling nearly every play. He had something like 28 rush attempts. All this despite being on the injury report with a high ankle sprain.

Yeah, I was basically rushing nobody to prevent that, or brought the house. And he'd almost always get the throw off anyways. His main WR had like 16 catches for over 200 yards, just couldn't stop him.

Streak continues....

Lost my starting QB in the 2nd quarter. Back up ended up having a pretty good game though. Dilemma time.

That sucks man. I didn't have one bit of lag the whole game before it booted you. You got booted last time we played in the other OD too. Other than that one pick you threw just before half, everything was going your way.

the inside of ps3 controllers are so intense that the position of the battery can affect some of the buttons. mind cant sit properly so it moves a tad and if i grip the left side of the controller it pressed the d pad and l1 and shit. Hart4 lent me a controller, same problem.

I meant to post this last night. but I had 2 restarts against CSU. Stupid playbooks didn't load and I was missing goalline, special teams, and several others again. had to delete the saved files, which I've never ask to save in the first place and it did finally pick up the PBs.

Then to add to it, 0-6 CSU who averages 6.5 points a game this season sacked me 7 times. There were 2 consecutive possessions in the 2nd quarter where I ran on first and loss yards, went to pass on 2nd and 3rd and got sacked. Finally had to just start throwing behind the blitz to sustain drives.

My line sucks!

EDIT: I saw Pengy was already Bowl eligible. What kind of misfit bowls are we all going to be in the first 2 season. this ought to be comical.
