MORE than Kobe? No chance. Maybe as much, but not more.

The only 2 players in the entire league that would have a case over Kobe would be Dwight and Duncan. I would concede that Dwight is probably worse than Kobe, but that's about it.

Though I do think it's funny that so many people are ranting against Lebron's last shot misses this year and saying the ball should go to Wade. Just funny.

Except Kobe is bitching because someon grazed his wrist with an eyelash while Dwight is complaining because someone elbowed him in the head.

Ok, so Kobe does get beat up pretty good, but Dwight gets hit much harder by playing inside so much that it legitimizes his complaining to me more than Kobe's.

yes.

the most amazing thing about shaq is the performance he put up even with the abuse he took all those years. if they ever called real fouls on shaq he would have fouled out entire front lines by himself

So you're saying high tops don't protect the ankles? Really, because other players say they like the Kobe's because they increase the flexbility of the ankle and it can bend further in the shoes than in other ones, which helps you roll an ankle and Kobe's had problems with that this season already. Rolling an ankle cost them a chance to win that game in regulation last night because of that bad luck (or dumb) foul
Kobe DID not play well....PAU DID not play well.
DUH
I scored as many points as he did in the 1st half, and I also had the same number of wide open 3pt makes as he did.

edit: kobe was awful all night, Pau should have been better but Kobe looked old last night

Logic, don't see that very often regarding this Heat team.

it seems like most Lebron haters nowadays don't apply logic to there "Lebron isn't clutch" arguments.

I just do not understand how two 7 footers got out rebounded by a 6 FT PG, lol. And I believe Paul had 10 boards at the half which Pau and Bynum didnt have ten combined at the half.

I compare it to his own teammates even moreso.

HOw does a 6ft PG grab 13 boards while the Hornets starting PF and C grabbed a total of 13 boards?

He's having a legendary series right now. He was more efficient, but I wouldn't say he had a better overall season than Rose and Westbrook, but I'm confident in saying that what he's doing right now in these playoffs, no other PG in the world, or even the last 15 years, has the ability to do, especially twice in 4 games.

i think he, individually, had as good if not a better season then both Rose and Westbrook. he had better shooting #'s, better assist #'s, less turnover ratio then both of those guys.

his team however did not.

He'll make a great Knick in 2012.

Not sure if they'll afford him in free agency.

They have nothing to give New Orleans in a trade.

Good luck NYK.

i dont know how definitive this is but:
Asked if the Knicks have the potential to have max cap space in the summer of 2012 to afford Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire and a third superstar, Walsh said, “Yes, we do.”

Paul is gone and that team wont last in New Orleans either if he does leave.

Heat need a PG, come on over Chris! :D

I'm sure the Hornets front office would love the additions of Mike Miller, Haslem, and Bibby for Paul.

I would think you are being sarcastic but being how shitty that team is run and the lack of supporting Paul with a cast makes me think they would seriously consider it.

Before this season, I'd agree.

But the new management, and mainly not worrying about the owner literally making deals to save money cause he actually has no money, has made some really good moves. Not enough to keep Paul here most likely, but getting rid of Posey's contract, Peja's contract, trading 2 backups in Thornton and Collison for 2 starters now in Ariza and Carl Landry, I can't complain at all.

This season has been a huge success.

Marcus Thornton #'s post trade

21ppg 45%/36%/80% 4.7 rpg (actually outrebounded the awful rebounding Landry) 3.4 apg 1.7 spg

alot of guards can put up big numbers given the opportunity, but Thornton is going to end up being a major part of the Kings going forward i think.

I hear ya but I also think losing Thornton was pretty big. He is a scorer and when Paul isnt in the game in this series, he would have been huge and I like Posey as he is a good performer in the playoffs...at least for the Heat. :D

Missing West is obviously huge as well in this series.

Edit: Stern beat me to it

Performance vs contract, he was about as garbage as garbage can be in his last season with the Hornets.
