Barring injury, Bama will be back.
gonna be tough with that conference and the title game, but they're certainly a favoriteMatt90210 wrote:Does anyone see Bama not making it again next year? They play in America's best conference whose best or 2nd best team will [possibly] be without their head coach for an unknown period of time.

I heard he played the game with a couple cracked ribs. He was injured against Florida and they kept it out of the media. here's the article:shel311 wrote:Depends on the QB situation.McElroy was actually pretty solid this season, minus the title game.Matt90210 wrote:Does anyone see Bama not making it again next year? Actually it does make sense, QB position BAMA is now deep. If Greg Mac went down in that game, AJ Mccarron was the back up, this is a guy who hadnt taken a snap since hs. Saban is very high on him, I highly doubt you replace a national championship qb, but I wont be surprised if there is a decent competition in the fall with Mccaron and Greg Mac. It really doesnt matter, we just need a qb to not get us beat since Ingy and Richardson are back.shel311 wrote:OracleHCR wrote:I heard he played the game with a couple cracked ribs. Damn, after clicking that link, I now realize my post made no sense because I now see that McElroy isn't a senior as I thought he was.

Sloppy, Colt McCoy goes down and you know its over, and then Bama running every play.
BORING!!
Congrats Bama fans and for Texas fans thats gonna sting for a looooooong time..
"What if"
Let's ask Nole.
Nole, does 98 still sting because of the "rooster"?
Exactly...Easportsbama wrote:But the QB position is a different animal in many ways.
I dont but let me say this. AJ was the back up for this game. Which doesnt mean anything until you find out after the game that Greg had broken ribs. Kid hasnt taken a snap all year and then he could potentially pull a redshirt to play this kid if Mac cant go. Saban has faith in him, If Mac has another stretch like oct, I wouldnt be surprised at all if AJ doesnt get a serious look. It really is all moot cause all Bama needs is a QB not to fuck up too bad with Ingram and Trent being our workhorses.walker213 wrote:BFiVL, do you really think they'll change the starter at quarterback after an undefeated season? I highly doubt it, but I mean it is your team...
