Does anyone see Bama not making it again next year? They play in America's best conference whose best or 2nd best team will [possibly] be without their head coach for an unknown period of time.

Barring injury, Bama will be back.

Depends on the QB situation.

McElroy was actually pretty solid this season, minus the title game.

Meyer will be back at the start of the season, but who knows just how good UF wil be.

gonna be tough with that conference and the title game, but they're certainly a favorite

they'll be a favorite just like florida was this year. everyone wondered if florida could go unbeaten this year to get 2 in a row. the same will be wondered about bama.

Tough schedule next year but it aint out of the question. Bama has a lot of redshirt guys who have to step up on defense. Bama may have to replace up to 4 dbs, at least 2 starting LBs ( should be fine since donta will be back) and the entire DL ( but yall saw the future bitch slap gilbert for a TD, Dareus will be a beast.)

Offensively, Downright scary, Lose nothing in the backfield or at WR. Replace a lineman or 2 and a TE which Bama has talent considering all Bama did this season was replace 3 three year starting lineman 2 of which are in the nfl not sure on the 3rd and they guided Ingram to the Heisman.

Penn St 2nd game of the year, Florida is on the schedule early, UT and LSU on the road.

I heard he played the game with a couple cracked ribs.  He was injured against Florida and they kept it out of the media. here's the article:

Damn, after clicking that link, I now realize my post made no sense because I now see that McElroy isn't a senior as I thought he was. :?

Actually it does make sense, QB position BAMA is now deep. If Greg Mac went down in that game, AJ Mccarron was the back up, this is a guy who hadnt taken a snap since hs. Saban is very high on him, I highly doubt you replace a national championship qb, but I wont be surprised if there is a decent competition in the fall with Mccaron and Greg Mac. It really doesnt matter, we just need a qb to not get us beat since Ingy and Richardson are back.

Sloppy, Colt McCoy goes down and you know its over, and then Bama running every play.

BORING!!

Congrats Bama fans and for Texas fans thats gonna sting for a looooooong time..

"What if"

Let's ask Nole.

Nole, does 98 still sting because of the "rooster"?

yes

and fuck you all

BFiVL, do you really think they'll change the starter at quarterback after an undefeated season? I highly doubt it, but I mean it is your team...

It is highly unlikely that McElroy will lose his starting spot. But Nick Saban does put the best on the field regardless of experience. I know there are a couple of senior DB's that have hit the pine since some underclassman have taken their jobs. But the QB position is a different animal in many ways.

I dont but let me say this. AJ was the back up for this game. Which doesnt mean anything until you find out after the game that Greg had broken ribs. Kid hasnt taken a snap all year and then he could potentially pull a redshirt to play this kid if Mac cant go. Saban has faith in him, If Mac has another stretch like oct, I wouldnt be surprised at all if AJ doesnt get a serious look. It really is all moot cause all Bama needs is a QB not to fuck up too bad with Ingram and Trent being our workhorses.

i don't think Bama would lose if they just went in f-in I-form and ran a dive with Richardson every play
