Today was a huge blow to Bernie. Texas and Maine are still too close to call and California closes in 15 minutes.
We could be leading up to a contended convention, which would be awesome to see play out.

The Dems pulled out a swift assassination of Bernie by getting Klobuchar and Buttiegieg to drop out before today. It seems to have worked and Joe is the clear front runner now.
After the day Warren had she really needs to stop this thing. I know she is stubborn and wants to fight but 3rd in your own state, its time buddy.

The party is a mess and there is no chance these 2 beat Trump.
4 more years is inevitable.

I’d tend to agree but 4 years ago when the Republican primary was a shit show everyone was saying no way Trump can win so who the hell knows. I’ll never say never again.

I think Biden gets exposed for actually losing his mind. Dude really doesn't have all his faculties anymore. Or has he always been this way?

Definitely hasn’t always been this way and it’s tough to watch the fella form a rational thought.
Sad that’s the best the Dems can put up there now a days.

Have you considered that Warren is working with the DNC and intentionally staying in the race to screw Sanders?

I think she is dumb enough to still think she has a chance. She is the only Hispanic candidate left right? Or was it Asian or Native American? It changes every week.

I could see that but I would imagine she prefers Bernie to Biden unless Biden has agreed to give her the VP or another big cabinet spot to stay in. I mean nothing surprises me so who knows.

She's proven that she'll do whatever or say whatever as long as it benefits her. Typical politician. I think there's a fair chance that she's been offered up a position to hold tight for awhile.

Right now, I disagree. As of today, Biden can do it. Will that hold up after presidential debates and whatever dirt gets uncovered by either side between now and then? IDK. The race basically comes down to Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Arizona. Trump has to win 5 of those 6. Most have red leans, but it's far from a sure thing.

Our Canadian gets it! I'd prefer Sanders as yesterday proves the Sanders coalition isn't as strong as once thought when it comes to them getting off the couch to actually vote

I just feel like the DNc divides their own party and ppl who vote Biden might not necessarily vote Sanders and vice versa. While I’m sure some republicans hate Trump, it’s not enough to divide the party.

Why play with fire? If Sanders gets the nomination, then by some crazy run of energy gets the presidency, that could be a major issue. (Ultimately would need down ticket assistance for it to matter a ton)
While Biden may have better odds to beat Trump, at least with Biden you'd know that time/money wouldn't be wasted on the wildest of ideas. It'd likely be a course correction toward '13-'16 in most areas. I think he'd be a 1 term president even if he did pull it off and then the incoming candidates would have to run on the back of whatever his does in '21-'24. Consider this the best, worst case scenario.

Did I read we just signed an agreement with the Taliban??
Admitted naivety here about the why but that whole headline is exciteable considering how we look at 9/11 still as a country and other ties.
This has been coming for a while now. It won't last
It didn't last.

Curious to see who Biden chooses as his running mate.

What happens to the delegates pledged to people no longer in the race?

They can pass them onto a remaining candidate or keep them and let them go back into the pool for when the convention happens
