Re: Soccer discussion thread
pretty absurd they pick them out like this in a bowl by hand.
in a sport that doesn't have the best reputation for honesty, you'd think they'd go with a different approach

PSG over Chelsea
Zenit over Benfica

Re: Soccer discussion thread

Arsenal good sir, and while in all reality it's not every year it just feels that way. Our fault for finishing second best in the group repeatedlynick wrote:good thing theyre not facing thenDRWebs wrote:This Barcelona or Bayern Munich every year is getting pretty old
Re: Soccer discussion thread
its funny how they go thru this ridiculously long drawn out system for UCL and its almost always the same 16 teams
Re: Soccer discussion thread
Leicester City take down Chelsea 2-1 to remain top of the premier league while Chelsea languish in 16th. Could be the straw that breaks Abromovichs back and gets Mourinho fired. Crazy times
Re: Soccer discussion thread
Chelsea sacked Mourinho this morning.
Re: Soccer discussion thread
I'd agree with someone if they told me the players weren't giving their all for Jose but honestly how much better are they with whoever replaces him at this point?BIGmike wrote:Chelsea sacked Mourinho this morning.
Re: Soccer discussion thread
They're reporting they mutually agreed to split but who knows...
Also, Pep Guardiola has confirmed he will leave Bayern following this season

Who would give their all for a manager who keeps throwing them under the bus and never takes any responsibility for the struggles they're having?

Up until the last two games he had said that it was his responsibility for putting them in position to succeed and for their poor form... I get your a United fan but your distorted views of any team not your own are laughablejsence2 wrote:DRWebs wrote:I'd agree with someone if they told me the players weren't giving their all for Jose but honestly how much better are they with whoever replaces him at this point?BIGmike wrote:Chelsea sacked Mourinho this morning.

That's funny, because I'm pretty sure he was busy blaming the referees. And the schedule makers. And everyone else but himself.
Oh hey, I guess back in October when he said he had a mole in the team, that's just a distorted view too.
But what do I know? I only write about the Premier League...
