Bama has never had a QB as good as Tua in BFIVL's lifetime and likely won't have one the rest of his life, just playing odds.Weasel wrote:BFiVL wrote:Tua is a once in a college football life time player
Huh?
I'll allow it.

That’s a pretty big swing vs a #1 or #2 team for a player. It was about the same vs Ark also so I guess Vegas has pegged Tua as worth 3 on his own. Mac looks the part. Obviously hasn’t played much. 4 star kid with big arm.shel311 wrote:But only worth 3 more points than the backup?BFiVL wrote:Tua is a once in a college football life time player
Exactly what I meant. Bama has never had a Qb like this and will probably never again. Bama hasn’t had an every day starter at QB in the NFL since before I was born and have never had a #1 overall pick and Tua could be that. Namath, stabler and Starr were way before me and never put up big numbers ( different times and wish bone offense.shel311 wrote:Bama has never had a QB as good as Tua in BFIVL's lifetime and likely won't have one the rest of his life, just playing odds.Weasel wrote:BFiVL wrote:Tua is a once in a college football life time player

Agreed with you and nice flag throwing making Biffy clarify.Weasel wrote:Ah, fair enough. Thought you meant in college football generally. Carry on.

They really just wanted to get the info out there!
LOL at taking credit like it was their idea, and they wanted this, it's just a "natural" evolution."This modernization for the future is a natural extension of the numerous steps NCAA members have taken in recent years to improve support for student-athletes, including full cost of attendance and guaranteed scholarships.”

UConn gonna be a D- but i'm still rolling with them. AND... they wont have a conference so my scheduling gonna be fun!
Do you work?!? I was trying to get this out there quickly. Just not as fast as you.shel311 wrote:Breaking news:
NCAA will allow players to make money off their name/likeness. They really didn't have a choice here.

Nebraska will be right around a D as well. We can schedule a game in week 2, home and home?DRiccio21 wrote:shel311 wrote:

Just the actual process of making out that schedule and talking to guys was one of my favorite parts of the league.
1 thing that amazes me is how vividly I can still remember plays from specific games.BFiVL wrote:I always played Beefy and Army week 1

I remember being back to back champs and riding like a 30-something game win streak that you broke with Bama over LSU, and remember specific big plays at the end of the game.
I remember you getting a long 4th down conversion on your last drive, scoring to go down 1, and with just seconds running right up the gut on the 2pt conversion for the W.

Only one I remember is vs Big Mike. I busted a dive up the guy for a 50 yard score. About the 15, flag for clipping. He laughed like an asshole.
