Magic number is now 9. I need to keep things entertaining for the next 6 weeks or so. I'm going to hold a pitch off between Ulrich, Mejia and Becker to see who gets to be #4 in the post-season.

might tank a few games here to ensure we play Toronto in round 1

we've played 49 total 1 run games this season

3-9 the last two sims. I might give Beefy a run for.... the basement?

Interesting 6 game stretch with Detroit and steel city coming up.

6.5 games up on steel city and Detroit is in the wild card spot behind Albany.

Colorado has a nice sim to cut the division lead a game to 6.

Bad news is all 6 of those upcoming games are at home where the drillers are 31-30 as opposed to 35-27 on the road.

Big injury in losing Gallegos who was hot up from the minors.

For those keeping track at home, and I know you are, Sheltown goes 1-3 in one run games this week to move to 12-25 on the year. I have the most losses in 1 run games and 2nd LEAST wins in 1 run games.

But at this point let's just keep losing those 1 run games and work on our draft status!!!

There's 4 teams in just our league with a worst bullpen, so it's certainly not JUST that.

The Chicago Sandstorm have the #1 pen in the AL in terms of ERA, and they're 13-20 in 1 run games.

yeah bullpens and 1 run games are certainly not correlated.

i have a great record in 1 run games at last check. i have one of the worst bullpens in the AL. lot of 5 run leads that turn into 1 run leads in the last couple innings.

Took 2 of 3 from dallas as we expected. But get swept by lowly Seattle.....SEATTLE!!

To make things worse, 2 more guys on the 60 day. aunders and Harrison sidelined for 3the months and 10 months. That is now 7 guys on the 60 day DL. No reason this team is inconsistent.

Next two series are on the road against Louisville and Indiana, hoping to win 4 of the games here, without another serious injury.
