Dr. Fauci not at the press conference last night, not at the town hall right now.
Trump when asked where he was:
"Dr. Fauci will be available for when his expertise is needed to communicate new updates".
Isnt that like all of this?

Poor Fauci has been blacklisted for keeping it real.

So is this the timeline?
Monday 3/16: White House shares 15 days to slow the spread plan.
Thursday 3/19: California and NY go on shelter in place for their state, representing the largest groups of people in the country to get this order, for minimum of 2 weeks (additional states follow Friday and over the weekend)
Monday 3/23/Tuesday 3/24: In barely a week, the White House is already talking about people needing to go back to work and that they'll social distance and "all else" while watching over seniors "protectively and lovingly" but people need to return to work soon because the cure is worse than the problem.
So, we could barely get half way through a plan without shitting all over it and talking about doing a 180?

the biggest problem in Italy is they live in homes together.. so you got 3 gens under 1 roof..
If that was the case it would be a huge problem in most countries. South Korea they have generations living together. The Kurdish people are the same way as are Iraqis. Philippines again the same. All of those countries are nowhere near what Italy is experiencing.
I think this is 100% an age thing in Italy, or younger people with multiple underlying issues
you know absolutely nothing and it shows.
Haha, poor Nick. Have you ever lived outside of your city, or more importantly outside of North America?
So if it is the generations living together then why are these other countries not having the same problem Italy has?

Don't remember who posted it. But there has to be a point where you can't allow our country to go into a great depression. Young (previously) healthy people aren't dying of this at alarming numbers. I believe it was .2% for 30-40 year olds. Of that .2% how many had underlying issues?
The economy and our country cannot fail over this. If you have underlying issues, stay the hell home. Don't be an asshole and visit people with underlying issues or the elderly.

You know it's coming.
Trump is going to say we are re-opening the country on April blah blah blah
Democrats will be speaking up saying huge mistake blah blah blah
Trump will then blame the other side for the recession and economic downfall and the finger pointing continues.

It's just interesting that they spend all this time on a plan, and can't get halfway through it without touting the opposite of the plan. When my boss changes his mind all the time about what we're doing at work, it's not really a confidence booster.

Also, Trump can say that, but doesn't seem that will countermand state, county, or city orders.

The economy and people's livlihood of providing for their family is more important. Here, I'll say it again. Until there is some way for everyone not to pay rent, mortgage, utilities and other bills this whole ordeal will never be viewed as dire as it may be. We will never allow America to fall

Depends on the state. For instance, Mississippi refuses state lockdown today saying "Mississippi will never be China". Yea, most states will do what Trump says along party lines as always.

It seems initial plan was flawed and they were focusing on the wrong things from the start. If they wanted to actually institute a 2 week shutdown they should have planned how to waive all those costs to the public ahead of time. Trying to lockdown and then work out the details after... it's like locking us all in the underground bunker and then working out the plan to have enough food and water in there to make it through.
You know, things they could have worked out for the first month after we realized it would get here so if we got to needing a lockdown the plan was ready to implement. But, we just hoped it would go away instead.
Jesus, they're all a bunch of idiots.

I was actually enjoying the Fox News coverage of the Town Hall and the reporter was asking great questions.
Then they introduce their team of medical experts and Dr. Oz is leading the questioning from Fox

So many better options.
Dr Phil. Dr Drew. Dr Huxtable.

This is a website many have been using,
https://covidactnow.org/
It projects # of hospitalization in each state based on social distancing, lockdown, limited measures.
Tennesee - 190 hospitalizations predicted by March 19th, 15 actual
Oklahoma - 127 hospitalizations predicted by March 23rd, only 81 total CASES as of yesterday
Virginia - 342 hospitalizations predicted by March 23rd, 290 total cases with only 45 hospitalizations as of yesterday
New York - 6938 hospitalizations predicted by March 23rd, less than half of the predicted # were hospitalized as of yesterday, and this is the epicenter of COVID in the US
Louisiana - 1351 hospitalizations predicted by March 23rd, 240 total
And all of those estimates were based on best case scenario, 3 months of shelter in place.
