Our AAA has been screwed up for as long as I can remember.

We even did the project of mapping all minor league parks to mirror the MLB parks and AAA continues to be the disaster.

So what is the real reason AAA is so hitter friendly?

I have no idea but our pitchers are getting pounded.

I do believe it would be somewhat true of what plasma said but not at this extent.

better hitters in AAA then other levels. ex ML guys, top hitters is the reason for the 4.5 era.

I'd ask, do we know for sure this is it? And if so, why?


Why do we have such better hitters in AAA but not equally good pitchers?

Is it because we all do not have full teams in AAA and shitty defenses?
Does anyone here actually setup a depth chart in AAA or actually manage their AAA?

If not, I would guess what Plasma is saying is the main reason for this.

I'd say no because we don't have full teams at all levels, not just AAA.

My team should be interesting this year and by interesting I mean, probably not any good. I have Marcos Martinez and Bob Morris surrounded mostly by rule 5 guys and minor league free agents. Our salary rank is 27th down from first last year.

I would agree with you, but we don't have the hitters at the other levels that we do at AAA. Guys down from the ML team, etc.
