Rumble was impressive, and has been since he started fighting at LHW, but how many times are we going to here that "Jones hasn't faced anyone like this before"? First it was Rampage, then Teixeira, and then Cormier would bring the power needed to take him down. Honestly I think it will have to be Gustafsson, or someone with similar size to beat him, just such a huge edge with his height and reach on everyone else.
Also what to y'all think about Rousey vs Zingano on 184 next moth?

I haven't watched enough of Zigano to give a good prediction. If she has great hands and great judo defense she could beat her. I doubt it though. Rouse is going to be champ for a little while.

Was disappointed in the Uncle Creepy fight. Ian did great the first round then just couldn't follow it up in the next two rounds. Lidicker (sp?) Came in 4 pounds over weight. This was the 4th the time he has missed weight. Not sure how this plays out in the 125lb division with him winning. I think the UFC should force him to 135, if he is unwilling then release him. I hate when fighters miss weight.
Miesha Tate was impressive tonight. She got rocked by McMann in the first round. What was the mist introduce was that Tate dominated the grappling over the Olympic silver medalist.
Jordan Mein's first round against Thiago Silva was something to be seen. Then BOOM! Thiago lands a body kick in the second, not even to the liver, and finishes the fight. This Mein kid is going to be good, he is only 25 years old and has great movement and striking. Just got caught by one of the hardest kickers in the UFC.
Tim Boesch was owning this fight. Then the second round Leites was able to get an arm triangle for the victory. I live the fan friendly style Boesch fights with, but it leaves him open for submission.
Will update the rest when I watch the rest of the card later.

Iaquinta looked great tonight. Hated seeing Louzan get picked apart in the second round. Lived seeing how he mixed in kicks after 4-6 punches and then get another 4-6 more pinches in. He really looked great tonight.

Woodley / Gastelum fight was a real snoozer. Both fighters showed way too much respect for the other. Woodley wins a split decision.

Silva is my favorite of all time and has been for years but he looked his age more last night than ever. He didn't slip stuff defensively as smoothly or instinctively as normal and offensively he wasn't as sharp or accurate
I don't know if it was emotions or language barrier but he seemed like that was the end of his career after the fight

The most shocking part of the night for me... Nick Diaz's post-fight interview. I don't know if that was due to fighting someone that he has a lot of respect for in Silva or if there has been some kind of material change which him. Either way, it was completely unlike him and personally I really liked this version of him.

Just finished the Silva / Diaz fight. It was just an Okay fight. The best part of the fight was Diaz clowning Silva at the beginning of the fight. One thing is for sure, Silva's leg is just fine. He threw some hard kicks with that leg. None were checked by Diaz, which is pretty normal for the brothers. Neither fighter impressed this fight

I don't think it was a 50-45 fight like two of the judges had. I thought Diaz definitely won 2 rounds, and possibly 1 other.

I dont think either fighter won the fight. Neither one did anything the whole 25 minutes. I did think he won round 1, any of the other rounds were toss ups as nobody clearly won any round.

I thought we as fans lost on this card. There were some pathetic fights IMO. Gastelum and Woodley was a real snoozer as well.

I enjoyed all of the fights except that one.
I thought Nick won at least two rounds.

Oh boy.....
"On February 3, 2015, the UFC organization was notified by the Nevada State Athletic Commission that Anderson Silva tested positive for Drostanolone metabolites on his Jan. 9 out of competition drug test. UFC's understanding is that further testing will be conducted by the Commission to confirm these preliminary results.
"Anderson Silva has been an amazing champion and a true ambassador of the sport of mixed martial arts and the UFC, in Brazil as well as around the world. UFC is disappointed to learn of these initial results.
"The UFC has a strict, consistent policy against the use of any illegal and/or performance enhancing drugs, stimulants or masking agents by its athletes."

Especially a post fight drug screening.
What is interesting is that Silva failed for anabolic steroids, but it was done out of competition cycle. With that being said, how do they handle this after letting Jones get away with cocaine? I think steroids is much worst, in the sports world, than cocaine is. Think we just saw Silva fight for the last time.
