I could go an buy a PS4 today if I wanted to but to be honest, I just don't have the motivation to do so right now. Not having the old NDL around and having to make the jump for that is probably the biggest reason why. The other reason is that there's just not any games on PS4 that are must plays for me.

Walmart never has them, and all I see are Xbox Ones, which I purchased a month ago. So I just ordered the Killzone bundle, with two controllers and Playstation plus for a year at Gamestop...arrives February 18th. I finally took the plunge....

They have been in-stock on Amazon for quite awhile.

Somewhat of a side note to that... I'm basically done buying anything that isn't clothing or that I don't need immediately at a store. Amazon has become the cheapest way to buy anything of significance as of late.

Adapted this policy about a year and a half ago and totally agree.

This includes kids stuff as well such as diapers, toys, etc.

I usually will check something out in the store and then use the Amazon app to compare their price with the bar code scanner thing and 95% of the time, Amazon is cheaper. Throw in free 2 day shipping with Prime and cant beat it.

Amazon and Wal-Mart. Until the People of Amazon website is set up, I'll prefer it over Wal-Mart.

Ive said it before, but for the past Id say 4 years or so Ive bought probably over 90% of my non-essentials from Amazon. Brick and mortar is almost last resort for me

South Park drops on March 4th for the PS3. It's not on the PS4.

Double win on my update in this thread.

Someone informed me that I MUST get a headset to play FIFA and COD with everyone this year... :-)

I ordered the Turtle Beach PX4 from Amazon... should be here tomorrow. Reign is finally getting big boy toys!

I know we are past the anniversary of the PS4 by some months but do you think today at this point in time you can look back and say "I could have waited one year or longer and not missed much and happy I didnt buy at release."?

I would say no as I have gotten my money's worth but as it goes in the industry the lack of content for these next gen consoles is way behind where we were for the PS3/XB360 era. Also all of the "big" games keep getting delayed non-stop this console generation.

Just curious after reading some pages in this thread and some articles on how this console generation is evolving.

I was torn over whether to buy one, but I'm glad I haven't as I just haven't had time. I haven't played any video games in probably 10-12 months

I know that feeling and was in that boat when I initially got the PS4 so probably could have waited.

Since I graduated I now own all 3 consoles, a Gamefly subscription, and play every game under the sun with all this free time with no school and such.

You are probably saving yourself about $100-$150 bundles now since the initial release and there still isn't that many games out that are must plays for the PS4 imo.

I'm the opposite. At the time I don't think I could have waited, just based on the excitement/new...ness of the whole thing.

But now I haven't played in weeks, possibly a month or 2, so nowadays I could certainly go without it.

Yea, definitely solely sports titles.

Though to AJ's point, he was right about "being intrigued a little" as I did purchase COD and Battlefield, i just barely played each for about a week before giving up on them, just wasn't interested. Though I thought BF was wayyyyyyyy better, based just on playing offline.

I mean there are some really good titles out there that I have played through and reviewed but it is all dependent on trying different games out. But if you only like sports games, thats your lane and what you play for.

I think after playing other genres going back to sports games are a little boring unless playing online with someone or in a league type setting.
