Roll your eyes all you want to, because you can't dispute what I said. She upset quite a few people with her "celebration", but based on the history of her/her sister/her father, it's not a shock that she did something stupid. Personally, I could care less....if you want to act a fool on a worldwide stage, then so be it. But I bet you that whoever wins the men's final today, they'll be classy when they celebrate--as Sharapova would've been had she won.

Surprised nobody brought it up yet.....anybody see Sturridge try to be cute w his penalty kick and cost Team GB a shot at a medal?
Best line I saw was from an SI writer
"Losing shootouts is such a staple of English culture, I'm surprised it wasn't part of the Opening Ceremony"

If it was no big deal, why did she do everything in her power, when asked, to avoid saying the name of it? "It has a name but I don't think it's appropriate here"
I never said I was upset by it, but Wimbledon is sacred ground to those Brits.

Did anyone see Williams medal ceremony? The US Flag fell off during the Ceremony. I was shocked at first. She laughed.......no big deal......but then I thought....I wonder if they did that on purpose. Just wondering if someone would have even thought to do something like that? or if it was just a freak coincidence.
Sturridge IMO was worse than Williams after his PK failure. He acted about as childish as some of them young punks on the Spain squad after their ultimate choke job. That one Spain kid (name started with an M?) actually pushed the REF several times during their last match, Along with That Spain Goalie Dee Gea(?) acting like a fool, Spains showing of classlessness should have them punished some way. They lost and choked, and took it out on the refs Physically IMO. Thanks to Mata for being there to stop them from doing something really stupid. Mata was visibly upset also but he acted with class, or at least like normal.
Dancing after winning, although not popular with some?, is okay IMO. It's how some of these punk thugs act after losing/choking is what has me shaking my head.

Then NBC comes on live at 5 AM to show a damn marathon? really? They have a dedicated Soccer and Basketball channel for this thing. They need an all track & field channel also.

Yeah, Spain should've had some serious repercussions from their actions.
It wasn't that she danced, it was that what the dance was.

Again, they play games there.
If the Brits think that place is "sacred", then that's there problem, not Serena's IMO.

For someone who says he could care far less what she did to celebrate, you sure do have a lot of comments on it!
Stop saying you don't care about things and then post 27 posts about it.
You are showing by your posts that you obviously care and it is ok if you care about it, you are allowed.

I just watched the video, not like she did it in disrespect. She was dancing in joy of winning.
She shook hands with Sherapova after the match and took pics with her and was respectful, so I don't see why people have an issue with it.
And who cares that the dance she did originated from gangs?
Really...you need a hobby!

Because sports is some religious cathedral, and we should all bow down to it and you should never DISRESPECT the...GAME!!!
The notion of disrespecting a game is so funny to me.

You realize a cryp walk has no negative connotation right? It's practically a fucking two step Jsense.
The fact that she's doing it is cool cause I've never seen a female do it myself.
