New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will receive an Emmy for his leadership during the pandemic.
New York has the 2nd highest Deaths per 1 million out of the 50 US states.
IDK, I thought he did a solid job of acting like he knew WTF he was doing.

They were also hit hard first when no one knew what was going on
Part of it was his fault for sending seniors back to nursing homes with COVID.
But in his defense, DR's at that time really didn't know how to treat this.

43 538 people got the Pfizer vaccine and 94 ppl got covid after it. If you don’t get the vaccine you’re not an essential human being on this planet.

I'll wait. Give it to the nurses/doctors/elderly/immune compromised/military first. Then start distributing after that.

The Mayor of Austin posted a video message for his residents, stating “We need to stay home if you can. This is not the time to relax... We may have to close things down if we are not careful,"
He posted the video while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas.
I really don't get how all these instances we're seeing aren't forcing politicians to resign immediately.

Imagine if we had a collection of voices with a powerful social reach that question their actions.

Similar to the CA governor, the mayor of SF, the mayor of SJ and a county board member in LA
I mean the similarity is these officials in these locations have zero likelihood of not being re-elected. Democrats in California or Austin? Only way they'd lose is if the Dem party bothered to run another Dem against 'em, which would be a waste of resources.
So they can basically do whatever they want

Yes it sums up perfectly what jheinz and others were going over.

Breaking NYT: Trump officials passed when Pfizer offered in late summer to sell the U.S. government additional doses of its COVID vaccine.
Now Pfizer may not be able to provide more vaccine to the U.S. until June because of commitments to other countries.
