I fully expect a braclet/app system that ppl who got the vaccine will be able to live normal lives while others won’t be allowed in stores and such. Why would any business wanna risk it when ppl are too stupid to take an effective vaccine?
There is less than a 0.0% chance of it happening
theres also a less than 0.0% chance that u dont get the vaccine so its a moot point.
I said I may get it in 2026 when I turn 50 if it's still around. By then we should know some side effects of taking it. At this point, being a healthy(ish) male with absolutely zero underlying conditions I am not at risk from COVID. And when I say healthy, I truly mean it. My cholesterol (good and bad) are well below the normal ranged, sugar levels are better than normal range, etc.... The only "underlying" condition I have is that I have latent tuberculosis that I got while living in Korea. I plan on taking the medication in January to get rid of it. It'll be my New Years resolution as I cannot drink while on it as the medicine is extremely hard on your liver. So right now I am slowing down on any drinking and need to get my liver enzymes below a certain point for the doctor to be okay with p;prescribing the medication to me.

My governor (california) also gets to go to the nicest restaurant in the world with as many people as he wants, but I'm supposed to not have family over for Thanksgiving.
He also gets to find a school in the state that he's allowed to be open, so his kids can go to it. Mine haven't since March.
At this point it's not IF our overlords break their own rules, it's just how much they flaunt that they can and there's nothing we can do about it.
Keep voting those idiots back into office. I don't feel sorry for anyone that votes them in and then wants to complain (not saying you are voting straight D)

That I don't take the vaccine? I already said I won't do it till I'm 50.

I'd have to go back to read Nicks posts. But I get hung up on his idiotic statement that we are all gonna be tracked by a bracelet if we get vaccinated. So point me in the right way cuz Nick says a lot of things....

California is an absolute mess. Stop sending your people to Texas. Thanks.
Hey as a non-democrat in California I don't want them to go either
I need their tax money to fund dem nonsense or I just foot more of the bill

- but watch - insurance for COVID related bills is going to be predicated on you taking the vaccine or not
So when does this start? 2023? I'm guessing by then everyone should have a chance to take it if they want
You gonna come back and admit you were wrong? I will.
FWIW I'm only posting in a ticked-off manner because I think you know better than to be so dense to think that there isn't going to be a HAMMER that forces people to take the vaccine. I think you're smarter than that.
I get it, but I don't see what you are seeing. Maybe it's the left leaning media culture (california) you live in compared to the right leaning culture (midwest) that I live in. But as soon as you think that it's okay that the government forces people to do things against their will we start to live in a 3rd world country. And I know that's not what you want (I hope). I know I don't want that as I have lived in those countries before and saw first hand the devastation it can bring upon it's people.
Lol at the idea I would listen to left leaning media just because I'm in California. I'm not a democrat yo (I'm a liberterian)
Which further gets to my point - I said what I *think* will happen - not what I want to have happen.
But I still don't think you get my point. The government isn't forcing anything in what I'm guessing will happen - the insurance company is. If you don't want to take the vaccine, that's fine, you should won't be covered for any COVID-related medical bills.
Now I don't know about you - but even as a health-ish guy who is younger than you, I'm not rolling that potential 5-6 figure bill on a bad dice roll

Regardless of who the "other guy" may be, they all would do the same thing once they're in charge when it comes to "do as I say, not as I do".

Pfizer announced this morning that their phase 3 reported 95% accurate.
We are placing people in our phase 3 right now. Very likely we have multiple successful vaccines in the next 3 months.

Dang, this dude is getting shit for all kinds of things.
In addition to this Hawaii getaway, he also has photos of him having what was supposed to be a big private dinner at a restaurant. Best part is in attendance at this dinner were members of the California Medical Association.
This is the guy trying to mandate his citizens to stay home, don't get together with family for Thanksgiving, and don't forget to wear your mask in between bites when you're at a restaurant.

NYC is going to shut down schools starting Monday. Never thought I'd see Nate Silver publicly criticizing the decisions of dems.
