agree!

And that onside kick was money, probably one of the best ones I have seen executed by the kicker! The outside guy just over ran the damn ball

The entire UNC team ran past it. Perfect onside kick.

Had a party at my house today for the afternoon games/my birthday. We put together an 8 team teaser with 4 of the 330 games and 4 of the 7ish games. We hit the first 3, and we had MSU -7 (push is loss). They went up 3 and there was basically no time left. I jokingly looked at my buddy and said "well, a bunch of laterals and a fumble and MSU could run it in?"

That was exactly what happened. We covered, and went nuts. We now have life with the last 4 legs tonight.

I’ve lost two bets this way before but never won off it. Good job buddy

I fully did not expect the Huskers to win this game. But I thought they would be slightly competitive, especially being it's a night game at home.

OSU looks like the best team in the nation. Their line play on both sides of the ball is unreal.

I thought Ohio St -17 was the lock of the weekend. I have no eff’n idea why Nebraska was ranked to start season. Frost may win big there but he’s had one recruiting cycle.

Define big.

I truly thought the UCF job was a better one thinking 5-10 years out. I would say I don't know why he left, but....money

We had our UConn baseball golf weekend... as a joke we all pitched in and took UConn +42.5

They were down 42-0 about 15 minutes into the game... and somehow covered

This is why polls are stupid to start the season. For some reason they expected him to turn around the Huskers as fast as he did UCF. It is much easier to recruit athletes at UCF than it is in Nebraska. Nebraska football has gone down hill for long enough it's going to take 4-6 recruiting cycles and some 7+ win seasons to get back to consistently being in the top 20 every week. And from there, you just need some recruiting hits and some bounces go in the Huskers favor to be a top 10 team.

What baffles me is how Adrian Martinez looks like he has regressed from the true freshman phenom that he looked like to just another average quarterback this year.

I don't see a realistic scenario where this can happen.

If a coach comes in and does a good job, he's likely going to leave for a better job.

A coach isn't going to leave for a better job if he is at his dream job, unless the fans completely turn on him. And that is where it concerns me for Frost. He was boo'd his 1st or 2nd game at home. His college football career started out iffy when he chose to go to Stanford instead of staying home. Some people don't forget that.

So the California governor will put in a signed plan that NCAA players can be paid in the state.

This means a California college football team can offer a recruit a $1million payment for lets say, an autograph session or a commercial for him to go to USC and it will be legal based on this law?

The only foot the NCAA has on to stand is that all California teams will not be removed from the NCAA if this actually goes into law?

This is going to be crazy to watch unfold.

From what I understand, the school won't be able to pay them anything, but they can obtain outside endorsements.

Fun little tidbit i saw
UConn loses to UCF, 56-21. UConn coach Randy Edsall picks up $2,000 bonus b/c Huskies' defense had better red-zone scoring percentage against than UCF's. (UConn allowed 4 scores in 5 trips by UCF. UCF allowed 3 scores in 3 trips.)

Edsall has at least $38K in bonuses this season

Sure, but it's still an important distinction for someone who may not fully know what the bill is about.

Very fun stadium to catch a football (HS or college) or FC Cincinnati game in. Tough to explain, but it's compact, squeezed in between some school buildings in a very busy area. It makes it feel like you're right on top of everything.

Sounds like Fenway Park from my experiences.
