SEC never had a black head coach until 10 years ago. Sadly, yeah. Still there.

He wins, no racism.

If he loses, though, well, that stupid negro should never have been hired in the first place.

Are the bama fan's happy about the hire? Biffy?

I did read this on twitter......
Today #Bama hired Lane Kiffin as OC. He’ll run Saban’s plays, like they all do, hide out, be a great play-caller, & resurrect his career
Nick Saban hiring Lane Kiffin is like Bill Belichick signing Tim Tebow. Takes a special situation to deal with that circus

Very happy with the hire. High reward on this one. He gets out of line, he won't last long.

Judging by my Facebook news feed, which has a wide assortment of bammers, there are three basic reactions:

The reasonable fans:
1. Lane Kiffin??? Whaaaaaat?
2. Lane Kiffin??? Whyyyyy?

Or

The kool-aid drinkers/people who have been making fun of him for years (see also, Biffy, apparently) :
3. Good hire. Saban will keep him in line. (Optional: Insert comment about how good his offense was that one time, nearly 10 years ago, when he inherited a job with arguably the most talented offense ever)

My wife is thoroughly embarrassed and refuses to talk about it.

Hired a proven offensive coach that can recruit at a high level who will have zero access to the media. If he fails he is gone, how is this a program killer little brother? Focus on packing up the Gus bus to Cleveland. Bama will be alright

Looks like FSU DC Jeremy Pruitt is heading to Athens after Todd Grantham left for Louisville. I really like this hire.

cant say im not bitter...guy is a GREAT adjuster....sad he'd leave.....i know Georgia is Georgia and all respect due and all but dang.....makes me wonder if he knows something we dont about fsu player talent/depth on def......only made 500k with us and signed with uga for 850k but u know we were gonna increase that.

Wonder why he didnt even wait on an offer...maybe how long it took for an offer is the reason

either way, someone eff'd up not locking or being able to lock him in

anyway, goodluck dawgs, ya got a good one

Easier to get a head coaching job by being a sec coordinator than an acc one. He's got 2 titles now and if he does a good job at Uga he will be a head coach in no time.
