I dont rate him highly... and he's out of options. wasn't going to make the team so decided to let him sit.

Neverbeen a fan of these replies. What do you do? Increase your already leading offer, stay put or tell his little digital ass to go fuck himself.

Q.

I thought youre not allowed to trade a player for x amount of days after resigning him?

I don't think we ever formalized a rule about it

Dave complained about it, and for probably 3 straight seasons when the Winter Meetings thread popped up, I'd post and remind him, and for 3 straight seasons he ignored me.

I know this years Rule 5's have to be on a major league roster, but do guys picked up through Rule 5 from last season also have to remain on the major league roster?

I've already had 2 ML offers turned down for minor league offers, and had a few offers out there with no bites in today's sim.

I guess Sheltown isn't as up and coming as I thought :(

Source AP News
The Boston Minutemen held a press conference today to introduce their new toys for the season during a busy offseason. A lot of these guys had met prior at home run derbies or all star game festivities but they were formally introduced together for the first time as Minutemen.

"We are ecstatic for these guys to get on the field and begin the winning tradition the city of Boston deserves. David, Damian, Jose, Edgardo,Lawrence, Paul, Chris, Byung, and Dave are some of the elite players in the league and are looking forward to making Beantown home.*
GM Krentsa leaned to the side and mumbled softly to his associates "did I miss anyone?" during the introductions.

Boston's projected payroll is estimated at around $120mil and the merchandise has been flying off the shelves since the moves took place. They will need every last penny as anything less than a title will be a failure and could result in the Seeit rule for their GM.

I forgot all about Rule 5. I could've used a few of those guys :(

Luckily I only lost one player, and he's a MR who has high potential but isn't going to be close to servicable in the bigs this year, and may never be.

We'll see.

Most of the guys I grabbed I knew wouldn't be difference makers this season, but the 'Cocks won't be very good this season anyway. I'm looking for those guys to be contributing in another season or two.
