Well, they can range from $40-$200
1st depends on what you really want them to do.
Most of the newer ones, There is only like 2 or 3 that say they work with the PS4.
Actaully gives you a list of the ones that work, You just have to buy that cable.
If you just want a mic to chat with guys, They have a PS4 one that is like $40 and I think they have a cheaper one for like $20 kinda like the old 360 headset.
If you want to be able to get game sound/chat out of it, Then you are going to wanna go with a higher end one.
I have had the PX5's since last year at xmas, There were on sale for $50 normally $200. They are wireless And all i had to do was buy that cable to convert them over from the top link. Best thing I have ever seen or heard.
1 last thing, I do know that the other brands of headsets like these will not work with PS4, So its TB or Sony brand only. I suggest TB..
And if you just want a mic to chat with the guys, your PS4 comes with a very simple mic.

I simply use it in the controller and it sounds great but you are right. The attached box that comes with it for detailed control still doesnt work and a waste at this point.
there is a setting you aren't doing right. its works normally
id have to look because its been a while since we went over it

If the headset is hard-wired, you don't need to usually connect it to the headset. I have the P21 and all I had to do was hook them up, change a setting, and they were good to go.

I have the P11s and don't plug them into the controller and they work great

I didn't plug mine into the controller till I watched that video, now they plug in there and work great too.
So now I can plug them into my Stereo receiver or into my controller.

So my PS4 was delivered today. Problem was that I had it shipped to my old address in Fort Stewart. I am such an idiot. So I called Amazon and they are refunding my money and it looks like someone got a PS4 for Christmas on Amazon's dime.
I am on 24 hour staff duty with 2 of my soldiers (one being Boston rob, new guy in OOTP) and we decided to call around to see if there are any PS4's around. Long story short, one of my guys here with me is at walmart buying me a Ps4 right now. They have one left and he is trying to get it. I will know in about 20 minutes if he was able to get it. My soldiers love me!

It seemed awfully buggy out of the box! Couldn't connect to the PS Store for a solid hour!
In any case, anyone looking to score some extra PS Plus subscription time, Best Buy has it for $35 for a year right now:
My free month ended yesterday and I paid the full $50. Ah well.

Sony has said it is looking into an error that apparently corrupts PlayStation 4 save files. Users have been citing the "CE-34878-0" error, a crash error code, and finding some save data compromised. Sony has given a few workaround solutions to try while it looks into the problem.
Following a lengthy PlayStation EU forum thread about the issue, a Sony representative told Polygon, "We are aware of the cases and we appreciate your patience while we investigate."
If you're already experiencing the issue, you have a few methods to try rather than simply waiting for Sony. The support site suggests exiting the game and installing any pending system software or game patches. If that doesn't work, it recommends you back up your saved data, and then initialize your PS4. That option can be found in the Settings menu under Initialization. That's a drastic step, since it will wipe all settings and info stored on the system--hence the need to back it all up first.

I have been trying to get a PS4 for the past month, and they are always a limited quantity selling out in minutes at the Game Stop stores. Walmart never has them, and all I see are Xbox Ones, which I purchased a month ago. So I just ordered the Killzone bundle, with two controllers and Playstation plus for a year at Gamestop...arrives February 18th. I finally took the plunge....
