Exactly. They threw a flag on the Ravens drive that led to the field goal. No difference there in terms of the amount of contact.shel311 wrote:I can't stand the "it's hard to throw a flag in that situation nonsense"
It would have made no difference.dakshdar wrote:I also wonder where the flag on the punt/safety with at least two Ravens simply wrapping their arms around guys in the endzone. It is like they stopped calling the game and just let everything go.
I *think* that they could have called holding in the endzone, but the safety would have been the result anyway. Not sure if that impacts the time on the clock at all. Still, it let the punter just hang around in the endzone for 7 seconds (or whatever it was).
Don't automatically assume that the big comeback on the odds means that nobody played the other way. What is the bigger problem likely was the public being on Baltimore and the over, meaning there were also a lot of Baltimore/Over parlays and Baltimore/Over teasers. Props are small potatoes.jsence2 wrote:Safety paid out +800

I read somewhere on Twitter that players are told to just hold the bejeezus out of guys on a play like that since the holding call is irrelevent anyway. They just don't want the punter to get murdered.dakshdar wrote:I also wonder where the flag on the punt/safety with at least two Ravens simply wrapping their arms around guys in the endzone.
