Bucks lose another heartbreaker 69-68. K Mart can't get his feet behind the line on a 3 to force OT. Nuggets made a furious comeback in the final minutes.

Pistons roll vs Kings, 95-58. Pistons play subs the majority of the game, as Coach Jsence and Coach Beefy enjoyed a great headset game with me hooking him up with some pointers....his frontcourt is terrific so as he learns some more post moves, he's gonna get a hell of a lot better!
Omri Casspi had 12 and Patterson had 13 to lead the Pistons; Wall and Jackson each added 12 as well and Kaman pitched in 10. The Pistons got 45 of their 95 points from the bench in a truly balanced effort. Ben Udrih impressed in his first game since changing from the Kings to Pistons, getting 9 pts on 4/8 shooting.
Great game Beefy, catch u on the return trip!

Knicks win 2 today
A hard fought 2 point win over the struggling T'Wolves and a 2 point win over the last undefeated team, Washington.
Emeka Okafor finally played like a 2nd round pick as he nearly had a triple double in the first 12 minutes against Minnesota and finished the game with 12 points 13 rebounds and 7 assists in game one and had 5 huge blocks in game 2 vs the Wizards.

Went 1-1 last night and I thought we played a solid game against the Rockets. Neither team shot great, but the Lakers were ice cold from downtown (1/11). Even with a loss, it was a confidence builder.
One question, my rotation was all kinds of jacked up in both games last night. I didn't go back in the screen to check it, but is there something that causes it to randomly reset?

This happens at times. Somehow the more games you play during the season the more it rotates your guys minutes. That is my guess anyway. Keeps it realistic IMO.ReignOnU wrote:Went 1-1 last night and I thought we played a solid game against the Rockets. Neither team shot great, but the Lakers were ice cold from downtown (1/11). Re: NDLH Season 2 Thread
i use manual subs . been using it all season long. last season i was auto ,and when i had a lead i wanted to rest my stars and they would sub them right back in. so i take care of it myself.
Re: NDLH Season 2 Thread
I had the fantastic problem of the computer subbing out a player that was on fire just because he dropped one square in fatigue. That or it would decide that it wanted to get the last guy on the bench (that I would never, ever play) into the game in a clutch situation.

Re: NDLH Season 2 Thread
I use the rotation setting. It's allowed me to get a solid lineup/good distribution all season. In the 4th quarter, I'll normally switch over to manual subs so I can take advantage of matchups and keep my hot shooters on the floor. I just don't feel like micromanaging my lineup in the 1st/2nd Q.

Re: NDLH Season 2 Thread
Thunder go 2-1 on the night
1st game: Thunder 78, Nets 60 - OKC got 20 from Ellis and then got a balanced scoring attack as they were able to start the night with a win.
2nd game: Thunder 70, Rockets 77 - Oklahoma City came out and could not hit anything in the 1st half and would be down by 20+ points at one point. Ryan Anderson was put in the game to see if they could get something going and he responded with 8 points in the last 2 minutes of the 1st half to close the lead to 16 (could have been 13 if Arenas didn't hit a 3 at the buzzer)..to start the 2nd half the Thunder would go with an unorthodoxed rotation using: 3 back ups in place of Nelson, Landry and Jordan. This would work quite well as at the end of the 3rd they would cut the lead to 7. The same group who started the 3rd: Arroyo, Ellis, Wright, Anderson and Thomas would come in and help cut the lead down to 2 points at one point. But down the stretch we could not hit the big shot when we needed it. Rockets would stop the Thunder comeback and get the W. Anderson was huge as he would have a season high 18 points to lead all OKC players.
3rd game: Thunder 86, Mavs 69 - The Thunder would come out tough and hot as everyone on the team seemed to be making shots. OKC would be up 12, 50-38 at the half and then would be up 15 going into the 4th quarter. The Thunder defense was huge as they held Joe Johnson to 7 for 21 shooting and Gerald Wallace to 6 for 19. Oklahoma City would get 5 guys in double digits for scoring as Ellis led the way with 17, Landry 16, Stevenson 13, and Wright/Nelson would both have 10.
great game Bernie, Hugme and Justgiver, enjoyed it!

Re: NDLH Season 2 Thread
The Clippers play their most exciting game of the year as they hosted the Utah Jazz Wednesday night. Carmelo Anthony was lights out down the stretch but it was Danny Granger who saved the day for the Clippers as he somehow escaped the defense of Anthony on the last shot of the game to drain a three with just 2 seconds left in regulation. Granger and Co. would take over in OT as they were too much for the visiting Jazz. Great game Dak as he was down by 17 points at one point to take the lead late in the 4th quarter.
Jrue Holiday was named the Player of the game with 17 points and 15 Assists to go along with 2 rebounds and 2 steals with only 5 turnovers. Great game Dak you deserved that W.

Re: NDLH Season 2 Thread
Everytime Carter made a freaking one footed three while falling down after running around two screens I wanted to throw up.
I was waiting for Granger's arm to fall off. Apparently I should have tried to force another OT for that.
