not 100% but isnt Windows 8 like touch screens? it looks horrible. Windows 7 is solid imo.

There is a classic view.
From everyone I know that has it, they say that it takes a while to get used to it, but once they do, they like it.
Our Microsoft guy at work says it is really great at handling resources.

As nick stated, it was designed for mobile, so it supports touch screens and you can use swiping gestures on the screen to do things and such, but even if you do not have a touch screen, you can use it just fine.
But it is much different.

The classic view does not give you a start button, so you cannot see all of your apps like you normally would.
And I do not believe you can have it boot up and stay in the classic view.


I would really like to know why reign is so against it, again, after talking with our Microsoft guy, it sounds pretty awesome to me.
