I am actually kinda interested in this not because I am glad Tebow is injured, but let's see the fucking 1994-1997 Husker comparisons now!

That is terrible to hear. I'd HATE for his college career to end like that. I know we bitch about Tebow a lot, but it's really the media's love affair with Tebow that we hate. There's not much reason to hate the kid himself.

If that is the case this was just only a matter of time. Not trying to be a dick, but the guy runs so hard and it was just a matter of time for something like this happened. Part of the game I understand but just saying...

I remember going, "What the fuck is a blood clot?" Shit, I remember one game vs Iowa State where goddamn Monte Christo was quarterbacking and all he did was run dives to Phillips and Greene.

That's what I want to see now. I consider the 95 Husker team the greatest ever and that whole four year stretch to be the most dominant FOOTBALL team ever. Let's see what Florida does now.

I agree, I dont think there is another 4 year span where a team was as dominant as that team was....maybe I'm a little biased here.

I'm curious to see if Florida is able to dominate teams like the Huskers did back then without their star QB.

BTW, the 'Skers won 55-0 or something like that tonight on their 300th straight sellout

Him running the football had nothing to do with this injury, just bad luck.

I stated I thought he was smug earlier in a post and I still feel the way I do, but dammit I hate injuries, worst part of the game. Hope he is back out on the field this season as I hate seeing injuries crumble a teams chances.

I am going to order the DVD of the game so I can see them in their throwbacks with the numbers on the head. I'd have ordered the PPV, but at work with my place's occupancy, it would have cost hundreds.

After watching Tebow try and "buck" Eric Berry last week and they stalemated, kid is a friggin bad ass and has all the respect in the world from me coming from a football standpoint. Berry is a stud and Tebow did not shy away from that dude at all.

Like Shel said, I don't think most people hate HIM; they hate HEARING about him all the time. I mean, fact is...as much as we make fun of him for stuff, I think we would all be proud of him if he was our son, our brother, etc, and I think those with kids would love to see them look up to someone like him rather than someone like T.O. or someone like that.

I didn't see the head hit the knee until I got home and saw the replay; they never showed a replay on the jumbotron out of respect. I definitely don't want to see his career suffer from this (you hate to see that happen to a kid who returns for their senior year, like Gresham, etc), and I also hope he'll be ok.

That said....he WAS due for a knockout hit, and I'm glad it was UK that delivered it I wonder, though, even if the OL hadn't been there, the speed at which he got hit and the angle he was going down at, I think he would've busted his head on the ground and probably still would've had a concussion, just not the brutal blow while he was still going down.

No, I meant he probably still would've had a concussion and been done for the rest of the game. He was absolutely blindsided, which I didn't think would ever happen to someone with the awareness he has.

And yes, I've been hit like that (returned an INT and got blindsided from the side by an OL, drileld my head on the ground) and got a concussion. It hurts like hell.

Then after the hit, you'd have thought the president had been shot. Give me a fucking break. He's a good player, but ESPN has created a monster and it's why so many people can't stand his ass. I agree to someone one elses point, do I really need to see him blowing chunks? What does that do for me as a fan of either team.

I was glad to see his ass get lit up for once, even though we couldn't do shit otherwise. It'll remind people that the dude is not immortal, and half of beating Florida is the intimidation factor. We were scared little bitches the whole 1st quarter. I bought into the "Hartline's" better hype, but he still sucks as far as I can tell.

Hate to see anyone get hurt bad, but this things is gonna be unbearable now either way. It's either going to be a lazarus-esque recovery coverage or whoa is me cry me a river Tebow's injured bullshit. If I had to hear about another person having the flu one more fucking time I was gonna beat someones ass.

And Notre Dinero won a football game; I won't be able to watch TV this week.

Just saw this for the first time. The hit by the DE didnt hurt him that knee on his head WAS BRUTAL. Im sorry if he had bleeding on his brain he would have been out cold. Watching the replay he never lost conciousness.
