Sexton did it for me for. A few seasons. It did not workout for me. Was just a Ok at both . Ended up with Bowie just played CF and returned to a all star.
We talked about it all the time, I just think it takes too much energy to be a starting pitcher and a starting position player. You end up having to manage a player that's always tired.
He was right on this. I will say. Was tired all the time. But maybe it could work at DH. In CF I did not.

This also was a old version of the game. Could have been updated.

Ya I thought there was separate stamina for both positions....though thinking about it that doesn't make sense as a guy who's pitched 100 will be tired the next day no matter where he plays.

There is separate fatigue ratings.

Hobbs is always 100% but just seems like he doesn’t perform in both at same time. But he’s also only 25 so part of it might just be that

There were definitely separate fatigue ratings, but the stats were telling a different story. The weeks that he didn't pitch he was crushing the ball and weeks that he pitched, he was striking out a ton. I'll always believe the stats over the ratings.

Yes separate but for me it would take him longer to recover after he was on the bump. I would always give him the next day off after a start. It would take him 6 to 7 days to recover to pitch again if I played him in CF the rest of the week. In the end he was a 3.0 war hitting and like a 2 war pitching. If I pitched him he would not recover in CF as fast. So it was a a lot of management but again he was so so with both.

And I had to hear it from Bowie each week it could not be done haha.

This makes sense. Thanks.

What does this mean?

Will our history be impacted by this? Like will it say Prosper won the AL East last year?

I don't believe so. Just the award pools have some of the wrong players in it. An issue I didn't forsee. Next time I'll wait until the FA sim to swap the divisions around.

My #4 overall pick in the 1st round already drops 8 points in potential...like every other decent youngster I've had over the past 7 years.

Fun!

I’d like to mention again how damn hard it is to develop starting pitchers in this damn game.

I think I have 4 guys now, MLB ready, individual ratings almost maxed out and so far away from overall potential.
Maddening.
