I know... we are in arb sims... the most useless of all sims. Like nothing happens for like 6 more sims.

Billy needed some cleansing time off after that live playoff debacle including Richmond's performance.

The only reason I gave this buffer day is I still have not heard a definitive answer on this. Do the emails to decide team options go away after one sim or are they there until arb is over? I have heard answers for both sides.

Thanks Billy. I will also add the fact is was 3:30am his time. I was almost certain he was gonna rage delete the entire league....especially after the Seals spanked the Greeks. In all seriousness, thanks man! We are lucky to have you at the helm.

Why would the Market Size of Seattle drop to Small? Game doesn’t make sense

It does not matter what your city is in real life. It is just based off performance. In the last 20 seasons:

3 playoff appearances
100 win seasons: 1
90 win seasons: 1
80 win seasons: 1
70 win seasons: 6
60 win seasons: 5
50 win seasons: 5
40 win seasons: 1
Times they have made the commish roll their eyes: 8,946,071

From the forums:

The owner has his own traits that are supposed to modify the underlying market size. If the Mets get an owner willing to spend -- which is supposed to be able to happen in OOTP -- they are very capable of being a relatively big-spending team. They have in the past. It shouldn't be the same market size as the Yankees, because it should more properly be thought of "size of fan base with money to spend on baseball" not merely "humans living in the metro area." Miami and Tampa Bay are a pretty sizable metropolises (metropoli?), but they're small-market teams because so many people there are transplanted fans of other teams.

Should be about time for a "no owners" vote, no?

7 teams havent exported. looking at their salaries

Cedar - no TO
Charlotte - no TO
Chicago - no TO
Cincy - no TO
Hillsboro - TO on CF Mike Cooper (13.7m) (6m buyout)
New England - None
New York - SP Greg Moreno (2.2M) (550k buyout)

so 2 players total and i just posted their salaries above. if they cant be seen by either team u can manually override either way im sure.

Pat Soto opted out of his contract. Looked to see what he would extend for.....

8 years $286.5M (average of $38.5M)

I don't see myself sniffing the playoffs any time soon if FA's are getting this kind of contract. Just gotta hope that I can hit in the Draft now. :(
