The game only supports a guitar to my knowledge.
It definitely teaches you more than guitar hero, because instead of hitting a green, yellow, red or blue button, you are actually hitting the right strings on a real guitar.
I have not spent nearly enough time with it and like you Corey, before this, I have never picked up a guitar before.
It is definitely something I could get into.
And the game gets harder as you get better, so it provides hours upon hours of playability.
