Bo Jackson is no hall of famer
Bo couldn't have held Wu's jock strap.
in football
He played 4 years and while he obviously was awesome, he basically had less career yards and TDs than a good back gets in a 2 year span. Big difference from Wu.

not in my mind. 5.5 ypc or something like that. apples n oranges maybe....
just stating my opinion. For ME, a bit of longevity is as important as a great 6 year run

You're arguing about Bo Jackson and making fun of JD for DrivewayGate.
Use that time to vote.

it's a fair point.
something i didn't really think about, either.
i looked up the hall of fame registry and there really aren't any guys in it with that few of AB's in the ML (outside of a few guys from negro leagues and guys who played 120 years ago).
with that said, he played basically 8 full seasons. 7 of them were extremely high production. i'll take out one of the years he didn't play full amount of games and say he had 6 seasons with 1.000 + ops. there were only 13 players in MLB history who had that type of production.
Ruth, Bonds, Williams, Gehrig, Foxx, Pujols, Ramirez, Hornsby, Musial, Cobb, Thomas, Ott, Mantle is the list ending at guys who had at least 7.
Ed Delahanty (late 1800's), ARod, Greenberg have 6 seasons
now WITH that said, Todd Helton had 5 seasons with 1.000+ OPS and probably won't make the hall of fame.
