"Huge fan, anyone know anything about them?"
I'm going to the Reds v Cards in 2 weeks... I figured I should get to a game or 2 early, because the Reds might be 20 back at the break.

Sorry, wasn't obvious enough, but that's the annual joke I make every year when the MLB thread pops up.
And by annual, I mean I might have made it in last year's season thread.

I'm not sure that the Cards outlook ever changes...
Really good pitching, with typically 1-2 young arms at the back of the rotation. Well rounded offensive team with veteran leadership and no major superstars. Should be 1st in the division, only rivaled by (enter trendy NL Central team here). It's an odd year, so the Giants won't be a huge threat, which would make the cards a top 3 NL team. Seem accurate?

I see he didn't do much at the plate last season, but has a 6.3 WAR? He's a stud on d?

He's pretty studly out there and he was supposed to be the next Pujols according to scouts who got it wrong so far.
Maybe he will break through there.
Is it me or was there a certain thing that happened for all these Cuban players all of a sudden this year? Seems there are a ton getting shots this year including a good looking kid for the Sox.

we always get mad in OOTP because of stacked IFAs but it seems like every IFA in the MLB is a stud. Hernandez, Abreu, Puig, Cespedes, etc etc

I think we got mad at how OOTP handled the process, not them actually all being studs.

I like this prank. I've wanted to do this to some people at the hospital.
I wished I cared about baseball more, I really do.

Did a bucket lost item last year and went to the World Series.
This years bucket list item, see the Cubs play at PNC. HEARD it's the best park out there right now. Anyone ever been and have recommendations around the area? Thinking of going in the summer. Thanks!
