I have now seen 3 people snap their legs in half on live TV: Sid Vicious, Kevin Ware, and Anderson Silva. And that is just way too many.

What a great card. Happy to Hall look like he wanted to fight finally, and I hope he can get his head strait with how talented he is. And right up until the tragic end to the Silva fight that was one great finish after another. Cannot wait to Weidman vs the phenom.

I can't stand her and I don't even watch the sport. I think it is her voice. She certainly is stupid. Don't tell her I typed that.

Anderson Silva threw two leg kicks in the second round, and Weidman checked both of them.

Dana White stated that, per Anderson Silva's corner, the first check actually hurt him, he said that Silva told the corner that his leg "cracked". If that's true, then for him to throw ANOTHER leg kick is beyond stupid.

I really wish the ref had stopped the fight in the first round. I can't stand Silva's showboating ways but he's still a great fighter, and you never want to see a guy's career end like that.

Agreed, it was a really good card, from the prelims to the main event.

Marathon today on Fox Sports 1. I love watching some of these past cards that I may have missed, or didn't want to dish out the money for PPV.

I know it's not a major card or anything, but I'm excited for tonights fights. Justin Edwards is from Mansfield, and I work with his mom at the hospital here. Probably the closest connection to a UFC fighter I will ever have, so I'm pumped to watch him fight tonight.

It's a very understated card that has a lot of quality style matchups. I could see 3 really great submissions victories coming from this card. It's not loaded with knockout artists, but has a lot of guys that finish fights either via sub or they earn well deserved TKO stoppages.

Yea it should be a solid night of fights.

Love how Fox/UFC puts these free ones on during the week. Its a great idea to promote the sport IMO.

I agree. I record them while I'm at work, and just fly from one fight to the next when I get home.

I do the same. Best way to watch them, then you can get past all the talking, or FF thru a boring fight.

Not sure if any of you guys are paying attention to the GSP/UFC(Dana White) fiasco but just read an article that was pretty interesting. I don't think GSP will fight in the UFC again, especially if this escalates any further.

Matt, have you ever ran across Stipe Miocic? I just saw that he is a paramedic in Ohio when he isn't fighting.

Anyone going to be watching the fight tonight on Fox. The only Hope I have for this card is to have Joe Rogan as the ringside commentator.

I believe he lives around Cleveland somewhere.

I have met Stipe before. Earlier last year.
My buddy works out at Strongstyle gym where Stipe trains.
My buddy just does boxing, not MMA, but I have went there with him a few times to work out.

It was just a hey, how's it going, good to see you kind of thing. Just a minute or two conversation.
