That does make me wonder about the "no time for OOTP cause work is so busy" stuff that got thrown around.
I didnt quit the OOTP because I was busy if you remember. I quit it because I was bored with it. :)
Oh I remember.

And I specifically remember talk about how work was going to be super busy and you do all your OOTP stuff at work and you wouldn't have time any more.

I remember.

Whenever I play these games I end up just pounding random buttons over and over. Either that or I learn one special move and try to do it over and over.

Mat Mania was always my favorite. I always played the arcade version on summer vacations to the mountains in NH.

nope, sorry........ No Mercy.

I'd probably be down for a WWE league. the last game was pretty fun, controls were very similar to the WCW/WWE games on 64. Online barely worked though.

Niddler played IWA/IWF/GWF... he's old old school.
1 15 16 26 27 45 46 47 52 59 61 73 88 89 90

I played in a wrestling league on 64 in which we created all of our own wrestlers. We'd have 'PPVs' every other week and get together at someone's house... there had to be at least 10 of us in the group. Each person had 2-3 wrestlers. It would have been around 1999 or so... I remember it because it was my first year with CompUSA and Jevon Kearse's 1st or 2nd year in the league. "The Freak" Jay Titan... undefeated tag team champ... can't remember my partners name... doesn't matter... I carried his punk ass.

Wow, that may have been the one I was in.
I told Reign over AIM, I had to be around 11-12 years old, so in like 1985 or 1986 is when I was playing.
My grandfather was way into wrestling and got me hooked when I was probably like 8-9 years old.

I remember waiting for the mail to come to see the results and everything. It was like waiting on OOTP sims. :D

I cannot believe with the internet though, that IWA still does it through the mail. Why is my question.
