I have no clue what I am doing in this NCAA Ultimate team thing. Can someone explain how to get collections and what exactly are you supposed to do with the cards. I just updated my team and then played someone and beat him. Was pretty fun playing with Chase Keenum, Vick Ballard and a bunch of other oldies!

There's a "Gold Starter Pack" for $1, or 79 cents for those of us with Season Pass. Has 10 good players. Grab it.

Don't buy more than one, I've read it'll just give you the same cards over again.

I spent $8 to buy the All American 7 pack combo, got some very good players

92 Jamaal Charles, Texas HB
91 Wesley Woodyard, Kentucky LB
87 Rolando McClain, Alabama LB
86 Vic Ballard, MSU RB
86 Greg Salas, Hawaii WR
88 Garrett Graham, Wisconsin TE (absolute BEAST)
89 Ben Jones, C (Wisconsin I think)
some other 85-86 players as well. Also got some 50-75 game contracts, ND jersey, ND Leprechaun....and FOUR Oregon Duck mascots

Yeah, it's def easier to grab guys on NCAA than on FIFA. What will hurt people are the "contracts". FIFA, you gotta worry about 11 guys. Here, you gotta eat a contract every game for anybody who touches the field (including when the backup QB holds for PAT/FG).

I managed to unlock the 96 overall version of Flutie. Pretty beastly for 5'10".

Can you explain how the contract works? I'm new to this also.

Ive never done the UT thing, but what is the point of it all? You just make up a team of historic players to dick around with, correct? Maybe its the "broke Weasel" coming out in me, but I don't see why youd pay extra money to try and get certain players

so Kirk Cousins can throw to Andre Rison and Charlie Rogers or just hand it off to Lorenzo White 8-)

its just a card game for people to have fun with and you open packs, get new cards, and then they can be on your roster. harder guys are obviously harder to get. its just a cash grab like editing your attributes easier in a be a pro based on whatever sport.

@niddler you can play in the league ladder thing against other humans

@weasel i have Andre ware handing off to her herschel walker and Darren McFadden in the triple option, and throwing passes to anquain Bolden and reggie Wayne and stevie Johnson. It's just a really fun thing to do. I'm hoping Tim couch is in here.

It's pretty much the guys who have been on the cover and current NFLers. Not many legends it looks like. Does not have the same draw as FUT.

So we need to make sure people are not using these players in ladder games, don't we?
And to clarify, you cannot use these players when playing lobby games?

I am thinking for league games, if we meet in a lobby or an NDL Lobby Room, we will be fine.
What about if we just send an invite to someone on our friend's list?

I just don't want us to have any issues with league games and find out someone has been using players like this.
