I was on fire (by my terrible golf standards) the first 7 or 8 holes. Then it all became a blur.

Yes I do. The school I am at now has 3 guys certified in it, so we each have a few sections of it. Rest of the day I have health and PE.

The first couple of years, I did it without certification. Just did the classroom portion and did a little range driving. Then the county realized they were running short of certified instructors. So they paid those 2 guys from UF to come up on the weekends to one of our driving ranges in duval and teach the class. And the county paid for it, so it was free for me. I had to give up my weekends for about 6 weeks, but it was worth it.

I love when they say stuff like that. You know they're trying to A)Look cool B)Get a reaction out of you C)Get kicked out of class on purpose. It's usually a combination of A and B. When they do that I usually just laugh and say "OK, see ya later" and send them on their way to the office. If I think it's option C though, I laugh and then tell them they now have a referral with their name on it and if they don't want to make it worse they'll sit there and keep their mouths shut.


Oh yeah, last day is today. Half day for teachers tomorrow.

I just had an 8th grade student ask me if I shaved my pubes. Just flat out asked it. I was floored. I did not know what to say for like 10 seconds then I rheemed the girl in front of the whole class and suspended her for the day from class. These kids know they are 5 days from high school and don't give a shit about my class anymore and therefore I don't give a shit about them, haha.

We're not out til the 5th. I'm off the 6th. In-service for summer school on the 7th. Summer school begins on the 10th. So no vacation for me until July 19!
