yea, it's been a rule since before I was part of the league. 1 point for every 10 tackles. I guess the reasoning behind it was they wanted all positions to be as equal as possible in terms of overall points scored. And this boosted the defenses up. Yet QB's continue to dominate the leaderboards and they won't add deductions for INTs. I remember a couple seasons back, Manning and Brees both went off for 400+ and 4 or 5 TD's each, but Manning threw 3 or 4 picks and Brees none. Manning outscored him.VeniVediV1ci wrote:tackles on defense gets points? I'm about to do my first "normal" size league after a 16 and a 14 team
im fine with sproles....have to get lucky on the other one...DRiccio21 wrote:nice grab with Rodgers, you need some rb's desperately... not that you didn't already know that.
Redman probably only gonna split carries and a lot of people think Dwyer could get the bulk of them. never know til the game starts, but just my thoughts.
Rodgers to Nelson is gonna be fun tho.
completely agree.ajalves wrote: im fine with sproles....have to get lucky on the other one...
Im, just in the camp that HAVING to have 2 stud RBs is a thing of the past since so many teams either split carries or have goal line backs. But i hear what you're saying. I'm hoping arian foster goes on the IR soon
im more of the theory that points are points.
Bad News... my team scored the least amount of points in week 1 (i benched Peterson like a fool).DRiccio21 wrote:10 team league, 5th pick, no keepers, no ppr, all td's are 6pts

Was able to trade Turner for Chris Johnson straight up at our opening weekend party, took advantage of his drunkenness and CJ's poor showing against the Pats. Hoping to now flip CJ or Charles into another WR to go along with Fitz.Bernie32 wrote:12-team, 5-man keeper league, standard scoring (plus tackles for defense, no deduction for TO's) start QB/1 RB/2WR/1TE/1flex/K/DEF

Good News... i have Peterson and Spiller now to go along with McCoy.
question... what two WR's would you start from my bunch.
Uuaww wrote:So I have a question.
I need to start 1 RB and 1 RB/WR
Greg Jennings at Seattle
Ben Jarvis Green Ellis at Washington
Jamaal Charles at New Orleans
Which 2 do you start?
Right now I am leaning towards Gennings and Green Ellis
here's the matchupVeniVediV1ci wrote:Jamaal getting 6 carries or whatever last week has to be scary, then again I have no clue if Crennel actually makes gameplans or just says "have fun boys" and goes to take a mental nap for 3 hours on Sunday.
is your opponent really talented and you need a big week? If you do, I'd go with him. If you just want to have solid production then the law firm and Jennings should be the more consistent performers
