First retiree this season?

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/ ... etiring-25

Must be nice to be 25, have a superbowl ring and no bad injuries... Talk about accomplishments. Wonder if he finished his degree?

Nowww I know why I didn't see the game anywhere on tv tonight...

Side note, met Chris Berman today. He was up at our facility for some reason, I guess since he was nearby for the ceremony last night

Who says they met a "celebrity" and doesn't say anything about what it was like? Is Berman a fucking douche like I think he is?

Just read on Twitter that Terrell Owens is meeting with Seahawks. Rice will go down by week 2 so we need all the help we can get

Berman played in a celebrity golf tournament where i used to work and he made fun of our shirts. I'd call him a douchebag.

Retired Maryland coach Gary Williams wasn't very nice, but i like him on the court so w/e

...and i came in here to announce there will be a 3rd pigskin contest for all who dare to keep Jake from defending

Any major Saints injuries?

I watched the 1st series, and that was that for me.

He was nice. Just acted pretty normal. Bigger than he looks on tv

The Falcons came to my hometown to have a scrimmage/practice with the Titans. We're about halfway between the two. Great night for a small town. My son got about 20 autographs and got to chat with Julio Jones, Roddy White, Michael Turner, and several others. The Falcons have done events like this around Atlanta for several years but never this far outside the city. Great night.

P.S. Julio Jones is the pick for your fantasy teams.

Any other teams get around close to your communities?

Got a text from Jason while I was still at work that he saw me on NFL Network for about 10 mins. I guess there was some sort of live shot of one of our drills lol. Wish he could have DVR'd it

I work on the equipment staff with the Browns. I was working at practice when he saw me. On a few of a our drills I get the balls back from the WR's and then either give them to the QB's or give the QB's a mock shotgun snap. I think that's the one he saw

I do this for the entire season. I've had internships and side work in athletics for the better part of 4 years now, and got my masters in sports management. It seems like such a low level job but it takes forever to get anywhere in sports so I'm happy as hell to have it. Looking to move up for next season. I get to travel this week to the first preseason game. Probably won't travel a lot, but this week will be fun

Just getting your foot in the door is an accomplishment. Most people have to start out trying to push season ticket packages. lol. That's great man. Now that you're in there's nowhere to go but up. I saw the Browns/Jags game last year in cleveland. Love that stadium despite the difficulty of the location. Hell of a game too.
