Here's some details on what went down with 38 Studios. Schilling is an interesting guy. One of the few celebrities that have been willing to put their online persona out there for people to interact with.

That's not totally true. Many of the other MMOs have been very successful in terms of profit... just not the insane kind of success that WoW has had. WoW happens to overshadow everything in such a way that when a game comes and goes with 1m subscribers, we call it a failure. Initial buy of $60 per, plus a few months @ $10-$15 per, usually means a rather successful venture.

Tera is a great MMO and has been a huge hit in Korea for about 18 months.
They released it here last month. I'm enjoying the different combat style.
They started the conference with their best game. Audience should clear now.

Battlefield 3 Premium announced. Sounds like COD Elite. Gives you early access to new maps and other items. 5 expansion packs of new content coming over next 9 months. Cost is $49.99. You can join next week. 20 new weapons and 10 new vehicles, including motorcycles.
