That's not totally true. Many of the other MMOs have been very successful in terms of profit... just not the insane kind of success that WoW has had. WoW happens to overshadow everything in such a way that when a game comes and goes with 1m subscribers, we call it a failure. Initial buy of $60 per, plus a few months @ $10-$15 per, usually means a rather successful venture.

Tera is a great MMO and has been a huge hit in Korea for about 18 months.

They released it here last month. I'm enjoying the different combat style.
