The most newsworthy part of that is that there are banned substances in Mexico.

Basketball is probably the one and only sport where a college team could beat an NBA team at all; football is next-to-impossible.

A college baseball team with the best college pitcher (Strasburg a couple years back) would seemingly have a chance because the pitcher can make all the difference.

True. I always say that there are two positions in sports where if that player decides the opponent is not winning, they aren't winning. Baseball pitcher and hockey goaltender.

Actually, you could probably make an argument for every sport except football.

only sports it applies too are ones that are 1 on 1, or require getting past a defender (in a net).

examples: Lacrosse/Soccer/Hockey. you cant score on goalie, youre not winning. Baseball: that pitchers on his game you're not hitting. But in like basketball, its 5 on 5, you can take every shot, but you cant defend every player on D and theres nothing blocking the basket like a goalie or anything.

From Fark.com: "Today is the 40th anniversary of the first Major League Baseball players' strike and the 20th anniversary the National Hockey League Players' Association first-ever strike. In honor, go refuse to do something"

Calipari Says He Won't Bolt to NBA

When exactly has a college coach coming off a championship been asked this question and responded with, "I'm definitely leaving because I'm too good for this place and the next class is nearly as good as the one leaving." ?

My expectation is that the most likely thing to happen when a college coach opens their mouth about something like this is the exact opposite of what they claim will definitely not happen.

Let's see if I can go two for two today:

Pat Summitt Retires... but if no one reminds her tomorrow she'll probably forget and show up to work.

And fark had an evil one for that one, too, a few weeks back (when UT got beaten badly)

"I'm guessing Pat Summit can't remember the last time the Lady Vols lost this badly in the NCAA Tourney"
