What kind of defense do you like to run? What system or scheme's fit your playing style on D? Trust me there are a lot of factors that I take into play and consideration. I mean my record of late hasn't shown it and neither has the time I've been able to put in the game but since about mid season I have been able to get back to my old ways of analizing the game and finding even the most unthought of schools to be promising. But that comes with figuring the team out + other factors. I know I just opened the door for some comments but I don't care lol joke on......
Offense - Spread Passing
QB - Accurate, mobile is a plus, not required.
RB - Very good
WR - At least 3 good WRs
TE - Irrelevant, but a plus if there
OL - Don't care... you won't have time to sack me. I'll gain more than I lose!

Defense - 425 - FS plays on an island and is very important
DL - 4 man front, 2 good DTs.
MLB - Stud, fast, mostly coverage
OLB - 1 very good, fast, mostly coverage... other one whatever
CB - Fast, good zone rating / good jump / good acc
FS - 1 stud
SS - 2 very good, must have

IQs are always a bonus.

Run:Pass will be about 1:2 this season. Aiming for 4000yds+. Going to be relentless... probably get blasted on my reports, whatever, haters gonna hate! :-P

Anyone know a good flexbone/option type playbook?

Want to try anything at all to keep this game interesting to me and doing this with my crappy team will be REAL interesting.

They are all the same, except for Option Run.

Make your own, so you can get out of the bone when you need to. All of my undercenter formations are flexbone/wishbone. Everything else is the gun/pistol.

Presto... Reign N Shoot!

No clue who else runs the option anymore

Navy/GT/Army

Air Force has a few formations... Run Option has a few. If you just want to use one of those. AF is the best of the 2, I used while I was @ Penn St. Has I Form triple option in it and some decent passes.

Yeah, great idea. Good luck... fun offense, but will take some practice to learn where the holes are.

One tip as you get into it... understand when to use the WB Sweep, WB Misdirection, WB Dive and WB Toss... most guys just jump in and try to run the option. Ease your way into the option and focus on preset runs first.

Aint no practicing here, no chance.

Just jumping right in and going full force, 99 fumbles this season and boom!

Hah, sounds like my balls-out, chuck and duck offense with Oregon to end last year's version. Go big or go home, as they say!

sometimes its to play smaller, sometimes its for draft spot, sometimes its for defense, sometimes its for pass o, sometimes run o

next season - 24- (damn u corey!) im going option so that'll obviously impact where i go since the list wont be that long to start with

Ray Graham at RB

MIke Shanahan and Devin Street at WR

Chas Alechi at DT

The whole secondary

I always look for a Good RB, TE and MLB. If you ever played me all I use is my MLB on defense so having a fast and sure tackler there is key for me. I like a good TE and a nice RB. I usually would say a nice Impact QB would be nice but after having Dysert last season I will stay away from that statement because he was anything but impact.

I do agree that a good Oline and Dline is key in this game.
