Re: ***Official NBA Playoffs Thread***
Miami is playing like the Hurricanes.
Expect teams to worship them and fall down for easy wins. They better step it up.
I know the NBA is the hardest game to officiate in pro sports but it's mind blowing how bad they are. For such a worldwide sport they need to look into the way games are called. I don't know the answer but it's gotta change
Props to rose though for those big plays but also if collison gets those same calls he is at the line and it's 2 or 3 posession leads instead of 1 at home.

We all know Rose is the MVP but I think he just said, "Chris Paul who?"

Re: ***Official NBA Playoffs Thread***
So maybe the Paul thing is a stretch atm, but don't tell me Rose isn't the MVP.

Re: ***Official NBA Playoffs Thread***
he's not the MVP and its really not even close.Matt90210 wrote:So maybe the Paul thing is a stretch atm, but don't tell me Rose isn't the MVP.
unfortunately the media gave him the award about 2 months ago and it snowballed into a foregone conclusion.
Howard should win it, then Lebron a close 2nd then Rose

He'll win but he's certainly it deserving.
If u go by best player, any knowledgeable fan will know that's lebron.
If u go by most valuable to his team, it's definitely Dwight Howard.
If u make up some random, arbitrary rules that's never really been rules for determining MVP, only then can u figure out a way to claim rose.
Hell, last month rose shot a very below average 41% from the field while Levon shot 58%. But Drose won player of the month. It's all laughable.

Re: ***Official NBA Playoffs Thread***
plain and simple the media crowned Rose mvp so that's what's going to happen and now that's all you hear about
like it's been said before Lebron (who i would choose) or Howard deserve it over Rose

Yup. That's unreal. One guy has a legendary shooting month for a perimeter player and also better numbers altogether. The other guy has a subpar shooting month but wins the award.DRiccio21 wrote:wait, when?shel311 wrote: Hell, last month rose shot a very below average 41% from the field while Levon shot 58%. Hawks do nothing but shoot jumpers and they are currently falling. Don't see this lasting.
Dwight Howard is playing out of his mind right now and the hawks have no answer down low.

Re: ***Official NBA Playoffs Thread***
Hawks got it done it game 1, be interesting to see how this play out. It was nice to see the refs chose to start calling fouls on Howard in the 2nd half, they only gave him about 5 free ones in the 1st half.
