THIS is why i own a ps3

LOVE when i play a game (or watch a movie) not expecting much and BOOM,....GREATNESS

ive cycled through 7-8 games this summer using gamefly and have prolly played none of them for more than a couple hours

this game comes through

i may be out of the loop but career mode is stellar so far and different than any other ive seen ina boxing game

9/10 so far....(i just finished the 1st couple heavyweight fights down in mexico)

its definitely a great game... Gamefly is the way to go with it tho. the game has 2 solid months of replay value, a little less if you don't fight online. really a great game tho

Yeah, for all the complaining I see on other boards about this game, it was pretty good. I'll admit, my shitty boxer starting out was getting destroyed, but once you get in to the meat of your career it's pretty fun.

Story mode was pretty engaging too I might add.

Fucking Isaac Frost.

Wasted over an hour trying to beat him tonight. If I play this game again I'm not playing Champion Mode anymore.

i did too. shit is stupid its so difficult.

tried it like 5 different times for and hour then said enough was enough

I got through it this morning. I found it helped to turn on the health bar display so I could just run away anytime I got hit. It isn't really obvious when you've been hit with that guy (or maybe with the game in general). There were times where it looked like I blocked perfectly and lost a quarter of my health.

Beating his is somewhat anticlimactic though. There is nothing after that.

I think I'll start a career with Ricky Hatton next instead.
