Well, tonight was a new low to me. I have played so many 1st person shooters now that I simply can't aim or move at all with 3rd person. I got fucking rocked all night.

this fuckin game just told me after i installed all the shit that the files are curropted..holy fuck

you can just hit "O" and it will leave that screen and allow u to go make a profile which will just overwrite the old one...that's what i did after i got mad at the game

Thats the thing. I never played SOCOM 2 but heard nothing but awesome things about it.

The only shooter I have ever played was COD and I was addicted like crack to that game. There will be an adjustment period Im sure.

If it sucks, Ill just trade it in when the new COD comes out.

Either way its always fun with the NDL fellas and Im sure Ill be an easy target as usual.

I would in NO WAY endorse that statement, though you did very aptly preface it by saying if you were a socom 2 fan.

i think guys like aj and nasty who got into shooters starting with COD will have a tough time adjusting to 3rd person. I am GREATLY disappointed that unlike Socom 2, u can easily switch between 3rd and 1st person.

I think the controls with throw everyone off for a bit and it make take a week or 2 to ramp up.

Also dont know how they'll take to the "dead room"...COD is respawn based.

either way, like i told nasty...buy it without a mic for 39.99...enjoy it for at least a month or so...trade it in for 20 around xmas...worth it either way

I went ahead and got the one with the headset due to I wanted a new one and heard the PS3 headset is awesome.

Dont mind ponying up the $20.

I will go in with a clear mind for SOCOM and not compare it to COD and let the good times roll.

I am now re-downloading everything since my shit was corrupt.

I read to delete the game saved utility instead of the SAVED utility file.

Thanks to the dipshit that said the wrong one.

Boys, those of you who have corrupted data, you dont need to re do the download. Just delete the "data" from the game utility. I would also recommend that you delete the beta if you have it.
