No the triple crown is awarded to each league if there is a winner of it.
Almost like an unofficial award that isn't acknowledged by the league like an MVP or Cy Young.

18-1 vs NE
16-3 vs Sheltown
16-3 vs Dillonvale
14-5 vs Miami
I think Shel has a point

Yes, I thought it was funny that Nick vehemently disagreed with me pointing out facts.

Serious question...
Woohoo, we finished with nearly a +500 run differential and finished 112 games over .500
Yes and no.
Yes its pretty rewarding to see what we have built over the course of 10 seasons or so and the point it has gotten to as a powerhouse.
No that my favorite part of the game is trading and making moves and that has hit an all time low for me.
It would be no again if we won every season and it came to a point where it was an expected outcome but that hasn't happened and we have had more first time winners the last 5 seasons I believe than any other run of seasons prior.
So there is still the thrill of the postseason and that anyone can win and it has shown that way as of late.
In the last 10 seasons we have had 8 different winners with Boston being the only repeat one (2041, 2048).
So the negative part is trading is at a low for you? You've got a team full of early 20 league minimums, all superstars...had 1 guy posted on the block all season (a CL). Your record in trades the last 5+ seasons is clearly why most are timid about dealing (imo). Guys go from #50ish NDL prospects to top 10 NDL prospects in 1 calendar year upon arriving in the Boston organization.
Bri Bry 75 to 9 to 1 to probably best pitcher in league
Hoffman 84 to 2
Alfonso unlisted to 15 to 2
Kirk 67 to 9
Payne unlisted to 16
Munoz unlisted to 40 to 1
Todd unlisted to 6 to possibly greatest player ever
Villanueva 46 to 18
Rivera 57 to 7
Espichan unlisted to 15
That's not including the farm
Mens future top 3 prospect
Winnebrenner 100% is #1 prospect next season
Blackwell sure to be a top 10 prospect
Ramirez most likely will be just behind Winnebrenner
I know I put way too much effort into this but if you can't see why at least some of us have boycotted Boston to try and let father time takes it course and get the organization back a reasonable level, then I can't help
All in all, is there any reason at all to trade in your position?

I answered your serious question.
I wasn't complaining.

So what do you propose I do?
Bottom 10 teams get to pick any Boston prospect they want
Each team gets to choose 1 guy from anywhere in the Boston organization
Fantasy draft and new owner takes over Boston as a new team
Restart
As i've said tirelessly I am not letting this thing die on my watch and will always do what is best for the league to keep this thing going so I am all ears.

A non Boston topic....
Alabama didn't lead the division once until the end of the season after a season ending sweep of Albany. Somehow sweeping the Wild Ones scares me me as we now enter the playoffs....vs. Albany.

called up RF Drake and SS Yoshida for the last week of the season. Drake killed it batting .393 with 3 HR, 9 RBIs, 8 Rs, 1.150 OPS in 7 games. Looks to be a bright future for him. Yoshida struggled a bit, but his numbers in AAA (59 HRs) shows alot of promise).

Woo Hoo! Tried losing it but split with Tampa to squeeze it out. I won't be able to make the start of playoffs because football will just be ending at 5pst

Boston just won 137 games with a bunch of 23 year olds, and you're pressing Corey to tell us all the bad things about being the Boston owner.

Never once have I proposed you do anything...I don't see any fairness in you having to do anything. My stance is to hope your team comes back down to reality.

I asked if it was actually fun managing them? Didn't press for anything. Was a pretty simple question.

I did go on 1 hell of a run for those 4 NDL seasons. It's crazy how vividly I remember my 2 losses in that 4 year stretch.
1 to Biffy and 1 to Buckeye, both in the last 10 seconds, I remember probably 5 plays each from each game like they happened yesterday. 1 or 2 crazy bounces from a 56-0 LSU run in 4 seasons.
Ahhhhh, it's fun to reminisce about me doing some actual winning.
