If i may take a moment to rant on the "battle tested team, if it comes down to a close game, Auburn will have the advantage" nonsense.

If it's a close game, give me the team that is so good they've never had to play a close game over the team who had to play tons of close games every time.

While I'm ranting, no matter how tiny your chance of winning is, you can't be the guy who gets tackled on the last play of the game like that. Do anything but get tackled.

Best national championship game ever. Tops USC/Texas.

Winston was phenomenal, and their defense did a great job of limiting Auburn. When Auburn didn't have a short field, they struggled tbh.

Just wonder if we'll ever have a national title game this good again. The semifinals will be this good, but they'll only get one week to prepare for the title game after that, will take out some of the strategy. That said, hard to top the roller coaster of emotions on that game. Maybe it's a good thing they gave up the touchdown to Auburn on that big play, or they may not have gotten a chance to come back.

Great job by Winston to bounce back from that tough first half.

I still think the USC/Texas game was better and would even say the Miami/OSU game was even better than this one even with the painful outcome for my team.

This was definitely a classic though and one for the books. I was on the edge of my seat that last quarter. I cant imagine the actual fans of the teams playing with that much on the line with the how much adrenalin was pumping.
