Do Texas hitters always take curtain calls after every home run? And skip around the basepath?

Awesome game last night.

LSU finally cut down their swings and used the opposite fields on those guys.

They were taking to big of a hack against Ruffin instead of going the other way. Then JMitch did just that and found that gap.

Tonight is going to be an interesting game. See how these 2 squads come out after such an emotional ride last night.

Texas gets drubbed tonight in my opinion.

They should have let Ruffin face Mitchell instead of bringing in that lefty. Ruffin was the nastiest pitcher LSU faced all season. And the Horns are starting the guy tonight that came in and threw 6 straight balls and got yanked. Not that 6 pitches is a scouting report, but he looked like a real stiff thrower, like the bullpen guy that we hit off of in the 9th.

I could see LSU getting up early in this one by 3 or 4 runs and winning 10-6 or something.

What a miserable night.

At least we have a stud pitcher tomorrow. The bats just gotta show up.

I don't guess TFan and VVV are big college baseball fans, lol.

I was really surprised he started Ross tonight. I knew he'd save Renaudo for tomorrow, but I thought he would have started someone like Bradshaw or even Cain. Ross pitched a good bit in the last game vs. Arkansas also, right?

Yes the HR's at the home games always get curtain calls and special ones on the road like the CWS will get them also.

I got 3 during my 2 years there. 2 CG's and an 82/3 inning game against Sam Houston St. in the 1996 regional. Some of my good memories at UT. :)

No. Ross hasn't pitched since the SEC tourney, a long time ago.

He's pretty bad as a 3rd starter, lol.

But I'm ok with him starting tonight, because Renaudo woulda been going on only 3 days rest which he hasn't done all year.

Now he'll get 4 days, so he should be in good shape, and hopefully pitch like he pitched against Arksansas last Friday.

Nonetheless, the bats have to show up.

I'm pretty sure Ross pitched Friday against Arkansas in relief, and he looked terrible and got roughed up some.

Very cool...nice series.

Man, it seems like every UT pitcher that came in the game was at least 8-2 and had ERAs under 3 and 2.

Both teams will reload and could very likely be back next season.

I was trying to find some slo-mo video of Sean Ochinko saying FUCK YEAH! They kept showing it over and over, and all I could think of was Jeffdaddy. It should be his new video sig if he can find it.
