A concern has been brought up by a few people how quickly the draft goes - specifically the first round. I would like to test out the following changes to the draft timer this year:

- Increase the round times to the following: 1st (2 hrs), 2nd and 3rd (90m), 4th and 5th (60m), 6th-20th (30m). This gives more time for important picks. Keep in mind if the draft isn't finished by draft time I would have to auto to finish the draft but we've never really had that issue. Also, 90% of teams go on auto after about the 4th or 5th rd anyway but some of us like to still manually pick so I didn't want to butcher those remaining time slots.

These times are going to be miserable. Let's just go back to drafting in game.
They are currently 30 min per rd starting at the 1st rd.
We going to see at least 5 teams use all 2 hours in the first round because they never set a draft list, set auto-pick and/or won't show up to make the pick themselves. This is one of those Fantasy Football betting locks

Only to have them turn off auto pick after the 2 hours is up for round 1 and then going through it all over again the next round

Anyone purposefully turning off auto pick and using their whole timer to auto again will lose that rd pick next year.

A concern has been brought up by a few people how quickly the draft goes - specifically the first round. I would like to test out the following changes to the draft timer this year:

- Officially start the timer 1 day earlier (3 days before draft in game). Was 2 days.
- No more unofficial extra day since 2 years in a row now we've been stuck on 1 team for the rest of the day and it's just frustrating.
- Increase the round times to the following: 1st (2 hrs), 2nd and 3rd (90m), 4th and 5th (60m), 6th-20th (30m). This gives more time for important picks. Would love some feedback and this is just testing. I'm willing to adjust more next year after we see how things go but I don't want to jump straight to 12hr time slots or something like that because that would require starting the draft very early and right now players are still developing while we draft (this is something that can be disabled but I don't see the need right now).

Thanks.

I would like to keep it at 30 minutes per round. If you do your scouting and make a list it shouldn’t be an issue. Just my two cents.

in regards to the draft, if the importing of the draft list off game to statsplus makes it way easier. takes less than 5 minutes to get a list of 400 guys on game. then you can move them around how you like. less time between picks is my choice. 30 min is fine.

I've received more positive feedback than negative on the draft changes so we're going to test out the initial setup I posted earlier. I will monitor how it goes this year and adjust accordingly if needed next year for sure.

The draft will officially start on Saturday, Mar 12 @ 11 AM EST!

Knew it was coming and it still stung. :x

Good to see all those 1st round picks finally making an impact from all those lowly years in New England.
