Gamestop calls and say we have a few but going fast. I text wife thinking I was just playing around and say hey: after wal mart stop by the gamestop and get my ps4. she says okay.......... roughly 30 minutes later she shows up and has me come out to car. wala. ps4 in back seat. HOLY SHIT she is awesome. Now what to get her for Christmas..

Right... just leave this website up with the alert on. That's how I snagged mine from Walmart on Sunday night.

I did it myself. I took it to Gamestop,a nd they do fire it up and go in to make sure it's working, so I'm guessing if you're taking it there they'll do the same and can do it for you if you needed them to.

Only $60 regular price, but I went on the Sunday before the PS4 released and they were offering 90% extra trade, so somewhere in the $110 range.

Good to know. As soon as I play my Bowl game to wrap up this season, then I'll be throwing my PS3 on CL or just giving it to a relative. I'll have to nuke most of it, as I've got a lot of downloaded content on it. (gameshare stuff)

I was more worried about personal information versus the downloaded stuff as I dont care about that but didnt want to unpack it all again and hook back up to clear it if I didnt have to.

It may be worth a quick call to the local Gamestop to ask them. A call may be easier than unpacking and hooking it up just to get confirmation if someone else can't confirm here.

Admittedly going to be shel lazy and not search for this info... hoping someone can give me the answers real fast:

- Will my bluetooth PS3 headset work?
- Is it worth buying a new one, even if it does? If so, what are some good options
- Is there anything else that I'm going to want/need that I may be overlooking?

I would buy a new headset like I did as it changes the whole game experience and also helps in cranking it loud when the little one is asleep.

Also, I havent found anything else that I actually need right now for it. Not even another controller at this point.
Will see if the PS Vita comes as I heard its gaining some momentum as a great counterpart to the PS4 and remote playing your PS4 anywhere.

Seems like everyone is running some form of Turtle Beach setup.

Have the issues with the separate volume / being plugged directly into the controller been fixed? Seems crappy to buy an awesome headset and not get the full functionality.

It hasnt for me.

I simply use it in the controller and it sounds great but you are right. The attached box that comes with it for detailed control still doesnt work and a waste at this point.

This sounds like a situation where I should head over to BB/GS and pick it up in person, then if I don't like it, just return it. I don't think the sound in my current headset is bad, so I'm wondering how much better the Turtle Beach sets are.
