i'm a pretty easy captain. I haven't come down on anyone and i'm still confident we'll get this turned around... but if you missed 4 putts within 10 inches of the hole i'm going to ask you to retire your clubs.

Not four putts FROM ten inches. Four putts from 15+ feet that ended up either barely sliding past or sitting right next to the hole

Was definitely on. Got lucky with the two pin hits (though, in true Jason-style, I did say, mid-flight, "Hit the pin" because I was going to be way over without it) and the ball sitting within 3 feet after each hit. Chip in on the first par 5 on the back was a real back breaker for you guys since, as George said, you were looking at a birdie push at worst with Matt and I both off the green in two and you just needing a somewhat routine 2-putt for birdie.
Then, the off the putt make for birdie on what was probably the hardest green on the course sealed the deal.
It was one of those rounds where I picked a line as soon as I saw the read, and lucked into the right one more often than not without second guessing or adjusting much.

Yeah, those two pin hits were crucial; that chip-in was a killer. But from the side-hill lie you had, I can only tip my hat and say "well played" on that one.
I overthought some of my longer putts due to the "break one way for half the putt, and then break the other" and it cost me. But you were so dialed in I'm not sure it even mattered. George and I would stick within 10 feet and you'd stick within 5, it was that kinda day.
