How old was he when that happened? Good to see I'm not the only one who dropped a baby around these parts.

I hear ya, but man, these dudes fall soooooo much that at the moment it happens, you think nothing of it at all.
It's crazy how kids jus bounce back from tumbles and falls. Could you imagine if it were you that fell like that? You'd be out of work for a couple days. I'd probably break a couple bones.

Yea, it's honestly probably the 10th time he's fallen off that exact spot on the arm of the couch, but usually he doen't even cry, but this one obviously was an awkward fall, or just backwards on the back of his head.

Funny thing on your 2nd point, remembering when I fumbled Xander and his head fell right on this rather sharp edge of the bathroom counter, immediatley after his head had a nice indention in it, then the blood. He cried for maybe 3 minutes and that was that. We did the whole ER thing, but he honestly never cried or favored it or did anything pertaining to the cut after 3 minutes. I think if my head swung down at a pretty good speed and I hit that corner, I know I would have been talking about how much it hurt for days.

Yep. And we're reading up on the papers they gave us last night with "Second Impact Syndrome", basically another similar fall within the next week or so, and they're telling us to keep a closer eye on him this week.

Ok will do, but it's impossible to have eyes on both of them at all times, not much you can do really.

My wife goes out for the entire day with her mom yesterday. No problem. Perfect actually :P

So i take my 2 sons over to my parents for a little while to give my step mom some mothers day stuff and put in a little time. The boys are 13 1/2 and 10. They're instantly bored of course and want to go play baseball in the side yard. I give my oldest the keys to the car so they can grab their gear out of the trunk.

They come back in about 25 minutes later. Youngest comes in 1st while the oldest is doing, god knows what outside. The conversation goes like this........

youngest : "We've been taking turns locking each other in the trunk."

me: :|

youngest : "yeah, Jordan dared me to do it"

me: Lets not do that, the spare key is in Downtown Orlando.

youngest: Jordan did it too

meanwhile my dad is sitting there almost in tears

Are you guys saying you've never done that as kids?

That's awesome! Glad to hear we weren't the only knuckle heads. It all started when we heard there was a trunk release on the insides of trunks. We would take turns to see who was the fastest one to whodini our way out. Miss those kinds of games.

I was a firebug growing up. It's a miracle I didn't burn something or someone down.
